These Tesco deals are just getting ridiculous now

I can appreciate you might be getting a good deal, but unless I can just …I can appreciate you might be getting a good deal, but unless I can just walk into any Tesco tonight and pick this up as a national deal what’s the point in posting it? They are evidently getting rid of stock that’s near expiry given the number of these random one off ‘I bought the last 5’ ‘deals’ appearing today.

Hi @joeydeacon
As with all instore deals some might be store specific. Hence why @Meatydakilla also stated which store this was.
This offer may, or may not be available in other Tesco stores. The OP has taken the time to let other members of the HUKD community aware of this particular deal (which is pretty amazing BTW) and they may get lucky, but without this thread they wouldn't be aware of it, so IMO it is VERY much a Deal, worthy of HUKD, as that is exactly the point of HUKD i.e. finding a deal and sharing it with the community.
Well I went to check for the 12 month psn subscription which was posted on here and they had none left but had the £35 top up. So was worth the check

Yep I got one earlier today from my local tesco, 25 quid credit for 12.50.

The point is to give others a chance at picking up something in the named store. There are no guarantees.

How many left mate?
Did they have many left? I'm not too far away from there as well!
I'm not sure as I had went to the entertainment desk upstairs. I asked for the old style 12 month psn subscription and he said their sold out. But he said they had the old top ups which scanned reduced. I didn't ask if he had more as I only needed the 1 and thought I got a deal
If anyone fancies picking me up a £30 plus I'm willing to pay somewhere between for the code

Because there's obviously more than Tescos doing these deals, therefore a lot of people have the chance to get them.... if they can be bothered to get off of their backside to look, instead of whinging.

Heat added op, well done mate.
Local big one had changed and basically removed the electrical desk and replaced it with a self service kiosk for click and collect

Went to another big one and the guy didn't even know what PSN cards were, telling me to ask downstairs when the normal full price ones were a couple aisles away

Because it’s handy if you have your local stores in your ‘keyword alerts’..

If you want to trawl aimlessly around Tesco’s in the hope that you might find one of these elusive codes then go for it, but some basic cost vs benefit analysis tells me that my time is worth more to me than £17.50, that’s before I’ve even factored in travel. The moment people have to start travelling all over Yorkshire, Merseyside or Durham etc in the hope of finding one of these, it’s no longer a £17.50 deal, it’s not difficult to understand yet people seem unable to grasp the concept.

Each to their own then, correct? Exactly.

I don't think people make a tour of the UK in search of the deal, rather, have a quick look in the Game section, when they are in their local Tesco, to see if their store has the same offer.

As I said above.. some people have their local stores in their ‘keyword alerts’.. so when a LOCAL store deal becomes available.. they know!

Hi @joeydeacon
I've deleted your recent comments. I've answered why deals like this are not only allowed but welcomed on HUKD and your comments are now thread spoiling.

Cool story bro
It’s nowhere near me, but heat added for finding such a cracking deal!
These Tesco deals are never IN LONDON

Why do that??

If I see any deals on here, I just ring my locals to confirm / check stock whilst getting my boots on....

It does happen.

The furthest I’ve gone is making a diversion on my way home from work once, as I couldn’t get a straight answer from Asda via phone
@joeydeacon, so anyone who lives close to Tesco Brooklands (let's just say 10 mins walk away) shouldn't get to know about this deal on here just because this deal is nowhere near you? It's not exactly hard to just scroll past any deals that don't interest you.

I live in an extremely remote area where none of the big supermarkets are, so none of these deals are ever any use to me, but I am able to just scroll past fine and easy.
