What's the cinema like? I've plumped for some 'cheap' cinemas in South London before, and well...the quality of the screens/theatres has often ruined a film experience for me!

Aah nostalgia! The last film I saw here was Clerks 2. Am fairly certain this cinema turns up in Peep Show as well!

You still cant beat the big screen in my mind... Thanks OP

Similar deals in Notting Hill Gate (Coronet) on Tuesdays, £3.50 for current releases. Iirc you can have a glass of wine when watching the movie too.

Been doing cheap Tuesdays for years, I only found out recently.

Nice cinema too, crowd often seem to enjoy the film more than other places, maybe cos they are seeing it cheaper.

Whilst on the subject, the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square used to have movies just after they left the local big cinemas for as low as £1.50... Then about two years ago they had a pretty hefty rise to £4 minimum... Still worth looking at though especially for London cinemas...you do need a membership to get the cheap tickets, I got the lifetime membership five years ago for £50, saved loads since then.

They have some good theme nights too.

Never seen Prince Charles in there yet though.

Anyone know if any free parking in surrounding roads?

Hot! Genesis have recently done a tonne of work to make their venue, and thus the area, nicer. If you haven't been for a while you should definitively check it out!

Whitechapel and Stepney / Bethnal Green are all great parts of London, and anyone insinuating they aren't safe, without backing it up with statistics, just comes across as xenophobic

its really not

Does 2 for 1 Orange Wed work here too?

@skyesmummu & @deelz001 Mile End is not grimey......please check house prices around there! I will say like many areas in london there will be bad eggs.

Just as easy to get mugged in West london or West end!!!!!

Nah, the West End Is The Best End.
