Picked up bargain in asda today, 3.5L electric slow cooker reduced to £7. It will probably sit in the back of my Kitchen cupboard and never get used, but for that price can't go wrong! Assume its nationwide.

Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add the merchant and that it's instore. It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.
I have changed the merchant from Asda Direct to Asda.com
Emmajk42 / Juliet_Bravo wrote a couple of very comprehensive and excellent guides for newcomers to HUKD here: - hotukdeals.com/ite…ne/
hotukdeals.com/ite…177
They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.
Kind regards Andy

:xwish I hadn't told the family, just had to go back to asda and pick up 3 more!!

My friend got one of these and was raving about it so I shot over to asda....only to find they'd sold out
Great deal if you get one though!

These were £10 this morning in the ASDA store at South Bank Middlesbrough :x

Is that 'stainless steel' or did you nick it?

Seriously, good price but I'm afraid it's destined for loft clutter in a month or two.

This isn't a bad price, but the unit is a little small. I managed a 4.5l model from J.Sainsbury last year for under £10. Purely out of interest - what is the power rating of this unit?

Big pile of them in the Norwich store.

Good spot :thumbsup:

Heat & rep from me

High = 200w power
Low =140w power

Hope that helps!

noo we love our slow cooker...even though the lid has broken on mine :roll:
I use it at least once a week during autumn and winter, can't beat coming home to an already prepared casserole!

Maybe we should drag ours out of the loft and try again then?
