What does 'luxury' mean?

It means their marketing team are better than their vintners.
Will give it a miss...

For the gullible!!!

Truly, from my limited research it appears to be11% , so while not believing that you have to have high alcohol to give flavour this is too low to be anything other than very thin. Save your money! To make it clear I am talking about this group of wines!

To me the label alone screams NO, it has cheap written all over it (not literally), let alone the content inside.

Each to their own but there are some very reasonable wines from supermarkets at this price when discounted.
Their 13% Cal Y Canto Castilla looks a better bet for £5 more.

Selling at £7 a bottle on Hennings wine website.
I fell for a groupon deal once. These websites are to clear stuff they can't sell in the shops because its second class wine.
Most probably resort wine, selling off because they are shut down, lower alcohol so you don't get so drunk on the all inclusive.

This will definitely be better
You'd be a thousand times better off with 12 of these (catch them while you can....)

Alcohol content has absolutely zero to do with the weight or viscosity of the wine. In fact it means there will be more residual natural sugars unfermented, so chances are it would likely be the opposite of ‘thin’

From my extensive ' research' over many years and having tasted many wines like this it will be thin, and as for residual sugars there wont be hardly any. This will be made from poor quality grapes which will have low levels of sugar to start. Anyhow, you buy it and hopefully you wont be disappointed!

None the less. Lower alcohol does not necessarily mean a thin wine. Tarring all 11% wines as thin is miss leading and contributes to the average Joe associating one attribute with the other. Some of the best wines in the world are below 13%

As I say enjoy. I am speaking from experience, I will agree that white wines especially can be low alcohol. Most of the best wines are below 13%, as it happens it's only comparitively recently that wines have been creeping up in alcohol. Go look at the reviews for these wines, they are really poor

These particular wines might be poor, or thin, or both. But your original comment never mentioned this particular wine. It just said, “[11%]... this is too low to be anything other than very thin”
When in fact, as I said originally, the two aspects are unrelated.

To me I was obviously talking about this wine, which is why I qualified my comment, but to make you happy I shall go back and edit my post!
