Wish I didn't show the other half this deal now. Off to Florida we go lol … Wish I didn't show the other half this deal now. Off to Florida we go lol

I feel so sorry for you, your life must suck really bad

Yep, you are looking at nearly £400 for 2 weeks comp insurance on an intermediate size car. Disney passes are well over £ 230 now for several days multi park ones. Universal Studios passes are around the £ 100 mark for access to the two parks they have.

Car insurance aside still a great deal, wish I had some money!!!!

Just ignore their car bit and hire a car, usually works out about £120 a week for me for a medium car.

Great deal!

With virgin I'll bet. Seems fairly standard for a half term week so not sure why the shock!

Wouldn't advise skimping on car insurance over there. Injury and medical claims can and do run into the hundreds of thousands and sometimes more.

why are people voting this cold? I paid £700 pp for a fortnight in October (flights and hotel separate), as the travel agents were quoting FROM £850 up. Less than £500pp must be a bargain!

Anyone know cheapest site for Disney and universal tickets??. Cheers

We carry Annual Passes for all the parks for exactly these type of deals

florida escapes or ATD

This is a good deal..we went 4 times last year and got nowhere near this price

I use Floridatix they tend to be slightly cheaper than atd

ATD will price match and it's hard tickets..

So is floridatix

And last year they had a 5% off weekend so worth looking out for that. Atd will price match but only on the same terms ie can't do deposit so no advantage to price matching the same pric.

Flights unlikely to be with Virgin as their baggage allowance is 23kgs. I guess it is Thomsons or one of the other holiday flights - probably flying to Orlando Sandford airport.

To avoid the collision damage waiver, you could always buy specialist car hire insurance over here before you go.

Flights are with Monarch, never flown with them so can't comment on the standard of service, etc.

Anyone got any experience flying with Monarch?

what A baargain oO. be warned as once you go to orlando you will want to keep on going . its so so magical

flew with them last october, gatwick to orlando, three rows of 3 seats each, seat pitch small, food OK. one of the toilets went out of service 2 hrs into the flight (someone been sick in wash basin), staff couldn't be bothered cleaning it so just locked it for the remainder of the flight (7+1/2hhrs). If u are a big guy it might be worth paying for extra legroom, last year I paid £80 return and got a seat in the first row. Check seatguru.com/ for specific aircraft seating

I flew to Florida with Monarch 2 years ago and they were great. You dont get the TVs in the seats like you do on BA or Virgin so just take plenty for the kids to do (if you are taking kids) I could not fault them.

Would advise anyone interested to have a look at the pictures of the hotel on Trip Advisor under "So disgusting we left and went to another hotel..."

great price we went easter 2010 and just for the flights was £8200 for 9 of us with virgin

wish I had some money

Spring Break flights...

May and june are not the best times to go to florida. I went last year and copped the end of 1 tropical storm and the beginning of another. 2 weeks of rain

Summer months may not be the best time to go weather-wise or with the high humidity but like everyone says, it's still a very good price.

May is one of the best times of the year to go to Florida, weather-wise. I went in May a few years back and didn't see a drop of rain for the whole fortnight, although there was a drought at that time. The humidity doesn't kick in until June/July. I would jump at this deal if the hotels were better located.

the deal is a mix of good and bad. it takes the main bulk of expense to leave you with a nice wad to spend on tickets to the parks (if you even wanted to go) and car hire waiver. Hot

Disney are now biometric/photo based so no sharing of tickets, bargain I paid 3200 in sept/oct for 2 weeks for 3 of us but was meant to be flying screamliner premium, hope its fixed.

Also bought my park tickets from atd as got last year prices secured and don't have to pay till August, remember exchange rate affects ticket prices.

Sounds great only one problem.....hotel is like faulty towers
