£399pp – 5-star all-inc Crete week At Cavo Spada Luxury Resort & Spa At Travel Zoo

Another great offer from Travel Zoo! And not restricted to London airports.

Travel Republic are asking 920 quid for just the hotel stay on the dates we want to go (20/4/19-27/4/19) so even with the inevitable extras here I'd be surprised if this doesn't work out cheapest on the market but if anyone can get me a better price (flying from East Midlands/Manchester) I will be very grateful.

"Of all the Greek islands, Crete is one of the most distinctive and beautiful," says The Guardian. Spend a week there, in a 5-star hotel overlooking the shimmering Mediterranean, with this £399-per-person deal from Deluxe Breaks, and save up to 52% on the cost of putting the package together yourself.

What's included

  • Return flights
  • Seven nights at 5-star Cavo Spada Luxury Resort & Spa, in a Deluxe Double Sea View Room
  • All-inclusive board, including all meals, drinks and snacks

When
Depart from London (Gatwick or Stansted), Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford or Manchester on select dates from 20 April-21 May; 5-18 October, 2019.

Travel in June from £499 per person; in August from £599 per person; or in July from £599 per person.

For more information, visit Deluxe Breaks' website.

Hotel details
Cavo Spada Luxury Resort & Spa re-opened in March after a refurbishment. It's on the island's northwest coast on a Blue Flag-awarded pebble beach.

Facilities include an outdoor pool, a kids' pool, a gym and a spa with a heated indoor pool, a sauna and a hammam. Rooms have a private balconies with sea views.

Meals are served in the Arsenali buffet restaurant, and there are also two bars. Twice per week, guests can have lunch at the Sea Line Beach Tavern, and once per week, guests can have dinner in the à la carte Italian Azzuro restaurant (drinks not included).

Chania, Crete's second-largest city, is half an hour's drive away, and has a pretty Venetian quarter and an old town that leads down to a harbour.

  • Children aged 2-11 can travel from £149 per child
  • Stay in a Deluxe Double Room with Direct Pool Access from an extra £25 per person, per stay

Stick another £150 on the price and make sure you read the T&C's. Do these people really think you are going to walk from the airport and bring no luggage! Proper misleading company this

Unless I have got this wrong, to book just the hotel on an AI basis for 2 people (20/4/19-27/4/19) is 920 quid with Travel republic. Then there's the flights to add! At the end of the day it's about the final cost...and this seems to be a great price. Would be more than happy if you could get me a better price flying from East Midlands on 20/4/19 for 7 days at this hotel on an all-inclusive basis as I'm by no means an expert on these matters. Thanks.

You are buying what equates to a package holiday. And the headline price doesn't reflect the real cost unless you are going to holiday in the buff for 7 days and walk to your hotel/airport and back.

I am not in the business of finding you a "better price". But, the price Travelzoo quote is NOT a true reflection of the holiday cost. And... You may want to note their T&C's: "Travelzoo accepts no liability in relation to any contract you enter into or for any travel services that you purchase".

That's just the type of company I want to enjoy MY thousand-pound holiday with!!!

Apologies, it seems you have taken my post in the wrong spirit. I genuinely believed you knew what you are doing and we are genuinely looking to book but want to be certain we had the best deal out there and your original comment hinted this wasn't. Certainly if i criticise someone else's deal i like to offer a better/cheaper alternative. Probably the way I" m wired and realise not everyone adopts this approach. Never mind.

My apologies to you friend. I just find this particular company's 'deals' misleading. If the overall price works for you, then go for it:-)
I got all excited when I saw this but then realised it excluded June til September. Petty comments made me smile though.
