With 3D TV and cinema set to take off in the next few years, soon everyone will want to get in on the action with their very own pair of 3D glasses!

Light-years ahead of the flimsy old cardboard frames and thin red and green plastic lenses, our new 3D glasses have comfortable, high quality plastic frames and proper optical lenses.

The red and blue lenses are carefully tuned to get the best out of modern stereo imagery and the results are truly amazing!

So, if you want to truly appreciate the latest in 3D technology then dont bother with the tacky cardboard viewers that cinemas supply and get your very own top quality 3D glasses that you can take with you again and again

Really not sure that this will be the type of 3D we have in the future, seems very old school with the red and green of yesteryear

lol omg the red and blue ones, thats jokes

i think they are using the black ones as jay showed in the pic, which was free when i went to watch bloody valentine in the cinema ages ago.

cannot see TV's using those, so buying this will be a waste of money imo, for that reason cold unfortunately.

cold. cant get cheaper ticket in cinema if u bring your own

cold, as there are 3 formats of 3D at the moment and no standard has been set. Welcome to the new format war.

No point buying into a 3D TV to find the format you followed dies like HD DVD

And the fact that there are tv's that will use 3d without the need for glasses.

All the 3D films I've seen at the cinema lately have used either polarized (IMAX) or interference (Dolby 3D) filters. For the home, active shuttered glasses combined with fast vertical sync displays are a possibility.

There's supposed to be some 3D season coming up on TV shortly ( ]http//ww…ng/ ) so they might be useful for that, but that event aside, I can't see them being used again.

Got mine free in the cinema.

This is the ONLY home 3d format being employed by the movie studios at the minute. Buy a 3d movie and these are the glasses you will get, albeit with flimsy cardboard frames. They are useless for adults and anyone who wears glasses. ANd the 3d effect doesn't appear to work too well with lcd screens.

What's the point? If you really want some just go watch a movie at the cinema and get a FREE pair!

they aint free you have to pay extra for them at vue in lakeside!
