Please note: These glasses are only designed to work with images or films where the 3D effect is created by a red/blue split. With 3D TV and cinema set to take off in the next few years, soon everyone will want to get in on the action with their very own pair of 3D glasses!

Light-years ahead of the flimsy old cardboard frames and thin red and green plastic lenses, these 3D glasses have comfortable, high quality plastic frames and proper optical lenses. The red and blue lenses are carefully tuned to get the best out of modern stereo imagery and the results are truly amazing! So, if you want to truly appreciate the latest in 3D technology then don't bother with the tacky cardboard viewers that cinemas supply and get your very own top quality 3D glasses that you can take with you again and again.

Usually delivered in about 10 days.

Sorry, but this is an absolute terrible deal.

With the recent Channel 4 3d week and the episode of Chuck that was in 3d, they now use a different colour standard - Blue/Amber. These colours allow you to still see the original colours of the screen and create a proper 3d effect.

To charge £5 for red/blue glasses where there is no longer any new content being produced this way, its a bad deal.

Also, the post says

well, thats a joke as well. 3DTV's will not be working on this way. The type of glasses you will need is those you get at the cinema currently for the recent 3D flicks.

I try to never put down deals, but I urge anyone not to waste £5 on this as its not going to be useful in the future with 3DTV's.

its also says get these glassed half price when bought with any 3d dvd or blu-ray
cheapest is dvd version on journey to the center of the earth as thats got both 2d and 3d discs in the box at about £4.99 so only £7.50 for both, works out a better deal, others are available for around £6 too.
dont think these would be any good at the cinema as some stated as the ones at the flicks are clear polorised lenses
even when sky becomes 3d later this year you will need a new tv , not available yet costing around £2000 and think they will use poloraised lense glasses
