Just popped on to Box.co.uk to check out filament for my recent 3d printer purchase and noticed all their Steadytech 3D ABS filament is at £9.99 (all colours).

ABS is not easy to print in - be warned. Most people would be better off using PLA (currently £18 down from £20).

Worth a punt if you want a play with ABS though.

Forgot to say P&P seems to be £2.95 for any order so not too horrendous but forgot to add that to add that to the title.
Be careful with box they sent me a printer that should have come with filament. The filament was even included on the description and the instructions manual and in the packaging foam was a empty space for it. They didn’t even confirm with manufacturer that the printer should have come with two spools of filament they said they will sort only to tell me after two weeks I will not be getting the filament as it’s not included and the manager has checked. They only changed their mind after I resent screenshots of their listings with written confirmation that two spools are in the box and links to YouTube videos where the same printer comes from manufacturer with two spools of filament. They only changed their mind and sent me the replacement filament after I told them I will be sharing my experience that I had with them on social media.

Useful information. Seems foolish for companies to try to penny pinch like this, when they're clearly wrong.

Not to defend them but they may have genuinely not known. If it comes in the packaging chances are they would have to try and repackage the filament to sell on which would be a ball ache.

I bought an ender 3 from them with an extra spool on PLA and all came fine, including the test filament in the box for the printer. Perhaps in this case it was a QA fault at the factory or any intermediary.
You can use the code 3DPRINTCLUB for 20% off too.
I buy my PLA from here 3dqf.co.uk/ good quality and comes on cardboard spools which are 100% recyclable unlike most plastic ones.
