I've been waiting 6 weeks for once parcel and over 4 weeks for my Anet a8.

As long as your happy to order and wait up to 2.5 months for your order go for it. (My a8 I got for £95). However for the small price difference of £15-20 you can get them off eBay or Amazon and shipped from the UK within days
I was looking at the Tevo Tarantula which is £80 cheaper than UK prices.
Even though dealing with China, and possibly Customs puts me off.

I have personally ordered 2 printers and a OnePlus 5 from Gearbest and never had to pay any customs

And not get shafted with import tax by buying from a UK based company.

Honestly how gearbest deals are allowed?
If it's Amazon you have to quote the prime price and delivery charge for non members.
Yet the gearbest deals don't have to include an estimated import tax which you're legally obliged to pay.

If it's of a concern you can calculate what you might have to pay here: gov.uk/goo…uty
However, I have never had to pay on any of the items I purchased

Thanks for the info.
The other thing is with an order from Chine - often these printers have a problem with faulty and missing parts. According to reviews the sellers are quick to acknowledge this and send parts. But, I don’t want to wait 6 weeks for a replacement part from China, and have a part built printer hanging around
