Was looking for a MiFi dongle to share my mobile internet at the right price and discovered this instead! Its a wireless N router with the added bonus of 3g mobile internet support (provided you already have a 3g usb dongle to plug into it!) .
(Note this is the full 300Mbps Wireless N model)

If you can get 3G dongle to work at 150mps ,never mind 300mps I would love to know which network you are on ,because I would pay big money for it!

Therefore the faster router is a mute point, you are paying extra for nothing.

Freezing.

Rofl surely all wireless N routers would be pointless then as the majority of landline internet speeds fail to reach 300mbps :P A router is not just for the internet!

The slower router is well up to the job of streaming media round the house,Saying get the faster one for a 3g dongle ,is like getting a cricket bat instead of a golf club for a round of golf .
I stand by my comment not worth the extra!!

I respect your point of view but different people want different things and I (and many other people) wanted a 300 mbps router! If you can find a 3g 300mbps wireless router for less than this you can justify the cold vote.
Please don't look too hard though as I have already ordered this and would be gutted if you find one cheaper

Could I get a giffgaff sim to work with this and just use mobile broadband?

All you need is a compatible dongle (I have my modem here and there is a long list of brands and models of dongles listed) and a sim. As far as I know as long as your dongle is supported any sim should work.
I have both a three and vodafone dongle to try with their respective company sims to try so will get let you know how i get on!
