Have added heat for the price but some of the reviews suggest the cord breaks after a few months. Decisions, decisions.
My b&q broken cord after 2nd year. Why do they use weak string...any better quality ones about anyone?
Sorry to rain on the deal...the base weights are £30 a pair and you'll need two pairs...ouch! That's nearly £90 for the whole unit...

This may not help you now but I bought 3 similar ones from Wilco in 2012 after seeing a deal on here. I bought 3 as I predicted they wouldn't last as they were so cheap but I'm still on the first one having used it 7 summers running now. The colours changed from black to pale silver/grey but so far no string has broken so clearly quality varies.
What is the difference between a leanover and cantalever parasol?

Now't....or....no...nowt
I’ve fixed a few of these, it looks like the cord has snapped but in reality, it’s just the knot that has pulled through its anchor, undo the screws take the plate off feed the cord back through the hole and tie a strong knot. Job done..

Use patio flags. Cost around £2 each from B&Q type places

Should do (I got a set of very similar ones from John Lewis for £20 from yet another HotUKDeal ) but it'll cost about £15 for the sand to weight them (3x25kg bags of play sand from Wickes or B&Q

Why use sand? Can fill with water.

Or just use some spare garden slabs if you have some

Use a few paving slabs on mine. Can pick then up a lot cheaper and can match patio.

Sand is a hell of a lot heavier, filling with water might not do such a good job. I had one of these and sent it back as it blew over and was knackered
