looks great...but beware there is no audio

Still a great price and great gadget though

shows how we get ripped off though... From that article, it says that the us price for it is $250/£190...

Mobile phones with a built in projector will be out before the end of the year...
Looks a great wee gadget though!

Bulb life is claimed to be 20,000 hours, then you throw it in the bin. At 6 hours a day use, that would give you about 8 years tho.

I guess it must be an LED backlight then.

I'll believe it when i see it

they cant even manage to consistently produce good camera phones with xenon flash

It's great, and it's the future, but it's only 7 lumens.

Just wait for the micro laser projectors - soon...

"and can project up to a 50 inch image"

Yeah - in complete darkness with the aid of night vision equipment.

I wouldn't worry about its resolution - you'd never get a visible image big enough to see the individual pixels anyway!

they have the phones on ebay now from china with the built in projector . about the £200quid mark.

check out youtube they have a few clips on there. Im love my gadgets , but i think i will wait on this one. Tiny Yes powerful No. Think ill wait until the next release of this unit comes out .

The problem is that you can't buy it in the UK.

not yet but its on sale and its LG so will only be a month or so til the technology gets a release here

And then it will cost rather more than £315!

The HS101 looks great for specs. I don't get the weight though... it's 6" x 4" but 1.7 pounds?! Has to be a typo?

LG website says the HS102 is 780 grammes. Battery is an optional extra so maybe weight 780g is excluding the battery.

I've just bought one of these in for evaluation at work - £229 with the discount code (ex VAT).
A nice idea and possibly something our sales team might be able to use - only the evaluation will tell.
If it turns out to be rubbish we'll EBay it on

Rep added for giving me the best laugh in ages! That was the cheesiest video ever!

I suspect the projector is rubbish though

Has anyone got this yet ?
