The pharmacy prescription mentioned is a scheme called Pharmacy First, your local pharmacy should have leaflet explaining about it.

I looked into the pharmacy first scheme ages ago and can't find it in my PCT area. Will go look again now

none in the slough Asda! Does anyone know whether they are the same price in Feltham?

Hi - we just ask our chemist for parcetamol in susphension (which is free and the same as calpol) and only recently we discovered that you can also get ibuprofen in suspension (nurofen) also for free.
