I was in Tunisia a week before the terrorist attack staying very close to the hotel that attack happened. And if anyone had told me it is not safe there I would had said a similar things as others saying in this list. Ie I don't see any problem, Nothing happened to me etc but if the terrorist had decided to carry out the inhumane act a week before, me and my family would have been in the middle of it. The comments of reporters and the experet in newspapers after the attack was very interesting they were saying "why do you think you were staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel for few hundred pounds?" If because it was not safe even in the hotel that was own by one of the government ministers.

I would not go to Turekey untill it is safe its not worth paying couple of hundred pounds less and risking ones life.

I agree with you, I'm not going to work until the roads are safe, its not worth risking my life for a few hundred pounds each week, oh wait..... I have no choice if I want to keep a decent roof over my head.

I've been to Paris hundreds of times and the spate of recent attacks doesn't stop me going back. Likewise, walking across Westminster Bridge or taking the tube.
Im in Turkey just now it feels as safe as any place just now. People don't realise how huge turkey as a country is.

Sorry, didn't read comments properly.
Stayed at this hotel mid May two years ago. It's lovely you can upgrade to deluxe room for a few pounds more ,think we paid £40 . Yeah it's a bit out of the way but honestly the wee on site bar is so good you don't need to leave. The one negative is dinner isn't great iwever breakfast and lunch are fab. We'd have jumped at this deal if we weren't already booked for Tenerife.
Don't forget government advice, which I believe is not to go?
