sorted byPlus some of the "safe" countries you have mentioned (or some nearby) have had natural disasters (floods, wildfires, earthquakes, hurricanes) in which many people have lost their lives. Some have been at the mercy of strike action (border agents, transport workers, hospitality workers) so again your relaxing holiday would have been ruined, if not cancelled completely!
Looks like the terrorists have won with you if you're frightened to go somewhere because of an incident that happened over 7 years ago.
