What weight? (Edit: apparently it varies. Even at 415g, the higher of 2 bags measured by Johnboy_1975, that is still equivilent to over 48p/kg)

Morrisons are doing 1.5kg for just 30p

Appears to be 6 or 7 in their bag

Morrisons 6 for 30p = 5p per potato
Asda 4 for 20p = 5p per potato

So a good deal either way

Limited to 3 per customer aswell.

They were in the order I made last night for sat delivery at usual price. I'll have to make sure that they have changed the price on the order or update it!

stupid price!

why is it i miss out on all these loss leader deals... do i go shopping on the wrong days or something?

It doesn't really matter if its 1p per potato at Morrisons, this is still a scorching hot deal

No weight on the packs by the way but weighed 2 packs and got 415 grams and 345 grams

Even at 415g/pack, that is equivilent to over 48p/kg
How is that considered scorching hot, when Morrisons are selling similar for less than half that price i.e. 20p/kg equivilent?

Seen in Asda Hulme last night, good value!

Well, I voted both hot, and the Morrisons deal has (I believe) got more heat - and rightly so. I'm not disputing its the better deal. But being aware of both deals and being in ASDA I wasn't going to not buy them, trek to Morrisons and hope they had stock.

Hope my scales were working correctly btw :w00t: By my reckoning (ie just over 100gms per tatty) you should be getting about 14 large potatos for 1.5kg so I reckon somethings not right if there are only 7 in the bag

And how is 5p for a baked potato NOT scorching hot?

Because that appears to be about the going price.
e.g. 50p per kg in Lidl ... and you can just buy the one potoato if that really is what you want.
