Thanks for this caroline. Can't go wrong with stowells at 2.50 a bottle.
Hotted it up and repped.

I realise that this is a good price for wine but is this actually good wine.

Well in my view it is not good wine...I'd prefer to pay just 50 p more and get the Chilean cab sav in Asda...which I think is superior.

It's all a matter of taste...however if all you want is a glugger for a a party then I'm sure it will fit the bill.

Having gone onto the Netto website I see they have Banrock Station wines for £2.99...that is a good price..and what about the Hoover for less that £50 ..looks a good deal to me.

Thanks, I'll probably choose to avoid this then.

As currychops says,it is all a matter of personal taste. If you haven't tried it,give it a go.If you generally like wine, you're hardly going to hate it.As he says, you can always use it at parties.I personally think it is a decent brand in the budget price range.:)

thanks Bazr

this wine is actually very drinkable its not gonna taste as good as a bottle in the £8 and over department but if you are not a wine buff and fancy a drink now and then and don't wanna pay too much this could be the one for you. I went and got two cases of this today its handy to have to give to your work collegues at christmas if i have some left by then lol
...Antonfrompreston if you want to try a really nice wine Tesco have calloway crossing chardonay on at half price £3.49 ... I shall be buying some of that too :giggle:

Thats what I was thinking of doing with them, give them to some of my work mates where I work part time, but don't want to give them horrible, obviosly cheap, wine as presents. I basically just don't want it to seem cheap.

The Banrock Station wine at Netto is really nice antonfrompreston...I also agree about Calloway Crossing in Tesco...may be worth looking in the voucher section, if you want to spend £50, as there are usually some money off coupons..at the mo I only have info about 500 extra points on a spend of £50 or more XXJT9H..has to be a minimum 12 bottles..there's also Quidco cashback for Tesco wine...of course there is a £5 delivery charge to consider.
