I imagine this won't get too much love, as it's a non-alcoholic lager, but I urge you not to think of it like that. The Bavaria apple lager tastes more like a less sickly version of Appletiser, with a slightly malty taste. It's a really nice drink to have cold on a hot summer day.

It's normally £1.79 for a 4 pack, so I'm stocking up while it's £1 for 4.

i dont drinkalcohol, these might be good alternative to my regular apple juice. thank you, will give them a try.

Look interesting, will try them. Cheers

I wouldn't hold much hope. Drinking Bavaria tastes like drinking vomit from a hobo's bum crack.

And before anyone asks how would I know how that tastes, twas a long night :whistling:

lol...pointless IMHO.

non alcoholic
apple AND lager...

what the...

Not pointless if it tastes nice (even a beer monster like me appreciates a non-boozy drink from time to time)

may get a pack and if its nice vot hot

I had some of this type of stuff (different brand, but apple non-alcoholic lager) last summer in Germany - It's nice, especially on a hot day, but not quite as refreshing as a lager.

Still, at 25p a can, this is probably worth trying.

A friend of mine drinks this stuff since gicing up alcohol.
I tried some and thought it tasted overly malty (like drinking watered down marmite), or driviing though Burton upon trent.

Bitburger drive is the 'nicest' alcohol free beer I've had but I've only tried the two.

It would be a non-alcoholic cider drink I would thought not lager :w00t:

Hmm, not sure I like the idea of apple and lager but I could have my opinion swayed.

I've had the normal alcohol free bavarian lager from tescos in cans and sainsburys in bottles and I have to say it's one of the best alcohol free beers I've had. I don't rate Kaliber or Becks alcohol free but these I find more than drinkable. Cobra alcohol free's another nice one.

Before you say "what's the point" of drinking these, what's the point of drinking Coke? I find both are equally good at making me moist on the inside.

Also, you get some rather interesting looks when drinking it whilst driving the car!

Cobra alcohol free's another nice one.

Yup - Cobra Zero's my non-alcoholic beer of choice. Lovely stuff.

Bud-Weiser non alcohol is the nicest, only problem being I've only seen it in Prague. The cost of non alcohol beer is unbelievable in relation to alcoholic beer.

That is just sick.

non alcoholicapple AND lager...

Indeed, but I thought I would give it a try. Well it is pointless!

If I want to taste apple, I can get real apple juice for less (not appletiser, granted). And why I would want I hint of malt taste is beyond me. It certainly tastes nothing like beer, that is for sure.

I read the deal as "0% apple" lager at first glance lol, it's too early for me obviously

Another funny point about this alcohol free apple "lager" is that despite the German sounding name it's actually Dutch :whistling:

A product that is very consistently not what you expect it to be

Bought this last week. Very very sickly I thought. But some out there will love it!

I bit the bullet and bought some. It is actually quite nice, much nicer than the Bavaria non alcoholic lager.
It is quite like a less fizzy, less sweet appletiser.

Interestingly there is no mention of the word lager on the can, it is described as an apple malt drink.

For anyone who's interested these packs of 4 x 330ml cans are currently 89p in Tesco,
