Screw you, wuntu!!!
Vodafone is way too generous now a days/ months can't complain

Haha I agree with this sentiment, as soon as Vodafone freebies started …Haha I agree with this sentiment, as soon as Vodafone freebies started getting decent that wuntu decided to become utter crap.. For what reason I don't know

Wuntu couldn't sustain giving stuff away, blaming people for exploiting their app. Lots of people did exploit it, and whilst that is a really selfish thing to do, Wuntu never put anything in place to stop it. All you need to do is get a free PAYG sim from Three - no credit required. It's like not putting any locks on your doors and then being surprised when somebody robs you whilst you are out. Vodafone require a £10 top-up every 6 weeks for PAYG to use their rewards app, so it should be more sustainable.

I can't think of anything more underwhelming than a free Costa coffee.

Do I want hot brown milk product? No. Do I want a chicken sandwich which is 90% cardboard bread. Not really.

It's the same quality of food and drink that was on offer from a remote service station vending machine in 1978.

is it worth getting a payg sim to get these rewards?

Assuming you have a dual sim phone, if you use your phone's mobile data sporadically, i.e you have days when you don't use your phone much, then other days where you're using mobile data all day (not Wifi, mobile data), the Vodafone "one sim" is quite good when paired with a second sim - either an o2 3-2-1 sim, or a three 3-2-1 sim.

On light days stick to the o2/three sim for mobile data, heavy days switch to the vodafone 'one sim' for mobile data. For calls/text always use o2/three's 3-2-1 plan.

On the days when you need a fair amount of mobile data, Vodafone 'one sim' will give you 500MB for £1 (capped), or for additional £1, 1GB for £2 capped, for 24 hours starting at midnight (you can't get more than this - it's capped to 1GB/£2 daily charge).

You need to be quite clever about switching/pausing the mobile data on the second Vodafone sim though, as it's very easy to use the first 5MB (0.20p) to 25MB, to which you'll be charged the max daily fee of £1.

If that sounds like too much hassle, then no, it's not worth having a Vodafone PAYG sim, probably better to look at a monthly three unlimited mobile data, unlimited minutes/text sim only deal, often on offer for around £20-22 a month.

Helps having a new phone with at least a Qualcomm 845 chipset, as these allow simultaneous 4G data connections to each sim, a lot of older phones only offer 2G on the second sim, when the first sim is using 3G/4G, so it's a lot more hassle switching the 4G mobile data over to the other sim.

Remember too, to get Vodafone Rewards, you need to top up £10 every 6 weeks to qualify.

o2 Priority on PAYG gets you a free Caffe Nero once a week, but they no longer accept screen shots and these tend to disappear around 3pm on Tuesday/Wednesday, so think of it as a 12pm-3pm freebie thing, if those times don't suit, the o2 sim is pretty useless for rewards too. The £5 Pizzaexpress Pizza (or 2 for £10 some weeks) is about the only other offer worth bothering with.

Three rewards via wuntu app - the app isn't even worth installing anymore for PAYG users, don't waste your time.

Or you can get a little adapter where you can use two sims and a memory card at the same time .

Oh .

They haven't. You probably didn't link your email to your sim card or didn't opt in for reward emails.

Just get a free payg sim, put it in your phone then download vodafone app then press veryme. It will say wait 4 days then after 4 days it will work.

I have my 6 sim free sim cards for more than 6 weeks and they still work. I found this method out myself.
would I be able to claim these offers from a PAYG sim? If so I will get a voda PAYG sim and put it in my 2nd sim slot (like I have previously with 3 and O2)
Tried the Costa ice coffee thing before. Really disappointed by Vodafone picking Costa as it's partner. Could've gone with Starbucks or something. Still crap coffee but tastes a little sweeter.
If you got spare codes, pm me guysss

That's a good plan, just ordered a few sim cards.
I need to check for these deals more often.
Completely coincidentally and for the first time in over a year, I bought a Sausage Roll from Greggs. On Wednesday.
AW007911/07/2019 12:50

Starbucks don't partner with anyone, only Costa and Caffé Nero appear to work with rewards schemes
