Browsing Music Magpie I spotted that they are doing 4 for £6 on loads (over 1000) CD's and there's some pretty decent music in there like Foo Fighters / Green Day / Mumford & Sons / NIN / Nirvana / The Clash/ Verve / Suede / Biffy Clyro / Radiohead / Stone Roses and loads more.
Also, they have an offer knocking 15% off preowned, so if you didn't want 4 you could just get one or two at £1.99 each and it then knocks 15% off making them £1.69 each.
Anyway, there's stuff for everyone in this offer as there's over 1000 titles.

Who buys CDs these days? Any good VCR deals?

Lots of people; great for the car and not to mention ripping them. Hard drive crash, lose all your MP3's? Fear not we have the CD too, can rip again. Can never understand why anyone would pay more for the MP3 when you can get the CD cheaper and rip it. Just seems daft.

I do! Better to buy the CD and rip it. You can then control the quality.

Try poundworld. Have piles of albums. Worth a look too.

Had a quick look through the first 6 or so pages. Anything of interest I've already got - including the source CDs of some of the "Best of.."

For those interested in some classic material, cheap way of finding out, Looks like free delivery so probably cheaper than the auction site.

Rip to FLAC and better quality than 89p (?guess?) MP3.

There are lot of online shops for much better music quality (even DSD) as standard cd can offer. And CD can also be damaged just like any physical medium.

I don't understand why OGG never replaced mp3! FLAC is superb, especially seeing as HDD space is so cheap now it makes perfect sense
