I'd be wary of these as they are unbranded. IMO £3.95 should be included in deal price £17.94

You beat me to it Archer, given their P&P is pretty much consistent I wish they'd just include it in their price although I realise it makes them far less appealling. At 18 pounds I don't think this is a good deal, I'd personally go for this Sandisk from Play for 18 pounds delivered:

The USB plug simply slides in and out so no cap to get in the way and it has a ring to allow it to be attached to a keyring. The only issue is the U3 software it comes with, I'd recommend preventing this from autorunning and then downloading the U3 uninstaller to get rid of it. The reason I say this is last time I plugged one of these in with U3 it was too intrusive, it installed a phantom drive which did not want to move. The U3 software is good in theory as it allows you to carry around a suite of useful applications and if you like that idea I strongly recommend ]http//ww…com where you have the choice of what you want on the flash drive in a far less intrusive mannger.

A great suggestion for a mere 5p more. I think I would pay the extra 5p for a reputable brand that I have used and continue to use. Won't burn a hole in your pocket :giggle:

oh i thought that was the whole price (inlcuding P+P). i think all deals should be posted with actual price. Because the anything can be a hot deal. e.g. £5 + 8.99 delivery or something very misleading

Not for me - I've had two different machines which were stuck with the phantom drive, regardless of whether the USB drive was plugged in or not. The U3 software never asked for permission on starting either, now with U3 drives I find disabling the autorun and wiping it with the installer prevents the U3 software getting anywhere.

h_360 - that is the case for deals here, the title will probably be updated by the mods at some point to reflect the delivery charge.
