Honestly, I would recommend leaving your car at the outskirts and getting a train or bus into the center. Most of the area surrounding the hotel is parking permit only (except after 6pm friday and before 8am Monday).

The other option is park at Waverley station and get a train/bus/walk(15 minutes) to Haymarket.

There's an NCP at Holyrood, but that's kind of the other side of the center (it's also extortionate).

There is metered parking around the corner, but again it's going to cost a fair bit.

Edinburgh is not really a driver's city
Maybe I do something wrong for the period 27 to 1 SEP it's 55 per night before the taxes and the code is 10%?

i've just booked this hotel through travel zoo which also have a good deal on at minute, two nights for £89 at a load of jurys inn and leonardo hotels (think it may already be on hotukdeals), I chose this hotel to book. But i also found a 10% discount code taking it down to £80.10 (code - LWKS10) I managed to book the last thursday and friday in november to see some of the xmas period in edinburgh. Hope this is helpful to someone

Couldnt find any joy with dates for this
So where should I leave my car
Timely deal, I am driving my daughter to Edinburgh for University and needed to stay overnight 🙃
Code appears to work on several hotels throughout the country

Heat added.
Heat. Shame Ed Fest isn't on this year, though it'd be considerably more expensive.
Have stayed in the Leonardo previously for the Christmas markets and it's a great hotel, 5 minute walk and you're on Princes Street, hotel is far enough away to avoid the chaos. There is a small car park behind the hotel which we've managed to get a space in before, just don't rely on it, from memory you can't pre-book a space. Heat added.
Book holiday in express near New heaven leith area, there's free parking on dock and you can get buses for city tour, hope around all day

They leave a bag outside your door in the morning containing some fruit (grapes blueberries etc), pain au chocolat, orange juice and a pot of overnight oats. It's not too bad.

Hi KG, im coming to Edinburgh this Mon-Weds and was just looking at parking options. You know when you said park it on the outskirts do you have any areas which you dont have to pay any parking and can easily get a bus or public transport to royal mile? I was going to pay upto around £50 for 48 hrs of parking in an NCP but if its possible to do what you said id rather try and do that lol Thanks

the 35 bus goes from hermiston gait park an ride all the way through to the royal mile if you were wanting the "direct" route, but it takes about 40 minutes to get each way.

Otherwise, have a look on Edinburgh parking permit map and avoid any zoned areas. Public transport is pretty good in Edinburgh so you shouldn't really struggle too much

ahhhhh ive actually booked in at the Holiday inn express at Royal Mile when it was the buy one get one free nights, they said can get discount parking next door at the NCP but its still like £25 for 24 hours which i'd like to avoid haha
I want to book this place but never been to Edinburgh as coming fern Manchester. Do u lot recommend it?
You can pre-book the ncp carpark near the castle. I've just put Mon 9am to Wed 7pm and it came out at £30. They have reserved bays presumably for people that pre-book
I've just come back from Edinburgh, stayed at Yotel who gave me a 50% off voucher, which I think was £17 a day instead of £34

Edinburgh old town is like York, lots of old buildings. The new town has all the modern shops and restaurants.
4* my arse! I’ve stayed here before.
Fantastic pub right next door.
