How big is a small pint?:p

Thanks OP

Bit sad that a 4l fridge only holds 6 x 1/3 l tins

Also, how much in metric is a small pint compared to a large pint?

I have 2 similar coolers and always end up using a cool bag with ice blocks as you can't run these with the engine off as they consume about 50-60 watts ( 5 amps) so your car battery won't last long

How much did you pay?
If 'cold' why did you buy the second one?

The mains/12v adapter is worth £12 so pretty good. I have similar design and you do have to watch as it states keeps 20 below external temp and so if temp drops to 10 products inside may freeze..... Not a good place for some items...

Is the 240v/12v adapter seperate or 'built in'?

"cools to 15-20°C below ambient temperature"

Think about it, your car is roasting at around 70 - 100 degrees inside

So this little marvel will reduce that temperature by up to 20 degrees

as someone else said, coolbox with several ice packs is far better, and you will get lots more in it !

Car temperature of 70 to 100 is in FARENHEIT. This reduces temperature by 20 degrees CENTIGRADE. Its a much greater impact

Well a friend of mine used a similar one to pack a picnic in. They stayed at a hotel and plugged it into the mains. The food the next day was borderline edible. I think that you'll be OK with yoghurts if you don't keep it in there for more than 12 hours. The chillers that you buy from motorcaravan stores are far more efficient and more expensive than these.

jeez, whatever you measure your temperature in, the bottom line is......
cars get very hot, this thing will reduce that already HIGH temperature by ONLY 20 degrees

So you are left with an end result which is still way too high for chilled foods or drinks

I bought a larger and "more powerful" version of this, it went staight back to the shop as it was totally useless

Advice from someone who has owned one: Don't waste your money folks
