No problem!

If, like me, you have been cheated out of a subscription deal by NowTV and been treated abysmally by their customer service when trying to get sense out of them one learns they are plenty of alternatives for entertainment.

They won't get me back no matter what grovelling desperate offers they send out.

Thanks whoever post this , good to see people still sharing good stuff :-)

I know of some alternatives, which ones have you learnt of?

The boxes of the open variety are much cheaper than £4.99 PM ;-)

Yep, great to see this posted nearly every week.

Just use a new email and get 30 days for free........I've been doing it for 6 months now still not paid once for nowtv movies just remember to cancel

Buy a £10 box, use the 3 month code. Sell the box on eBay. Works out at around £1.50 a month then.

I did this makes it all worth while

but dont you need a different payment method each time?

Mine just got renewed after 3 month trial, I hardly use it can't see the value. Only watch some of the fat fight of my life series.

Can't believe people use now TV. Far better alternatives out there for free

do tell.

I'm sure this exact deal gets posted every single month now.

in terms of a deal it's a good deal but in reality the content you get is shocking even at the deal price. kodi/xbmc is the way to go then maybe sky will realise how useless and greedy they have become

I cancelled both movies and entertainment and got offered nowt.

fantastic find!! worked!!

great find!!

aren't you watching TV illegally?

Oddly I was offered the £4.99 movies deal without cancelling! NowTV has been good value with the Chromecast free offer, Carling, etc. I haven't paid very much for the past year or so...Don't know what value this adds to the thread though.8)

Where can you buy the £10 box please

This offer has been available for a while now i cancelled ticked too expensive then i was offered 4mths movie pass @ £4.99 per mth..... bargain

its a good deal and they have just updated the app and interface.... seems to stream better for me now, before was quite grainy quality compared to netflix

if you like to pay for this type of thing its a good deal, the boxes are good - they are soon to update with new model box

£10 boxes were available from argos, tesco, sainsburys with 2 months movies or 3 month entert

most places probably sold out but Shopto via ebay may have some

You can't really compare piracy to paying, otherwise every dvd/cd/game deal is irrelevant.

When you consider its £17 to add Sky Movies to your package £4.99 is a great deal can't understand when people moan about buffering though i've had Now TV for over a year and touch wood it's never buffered once suppose it comes down to how good your internet is..... heated added

Kodi XMBC is the future

It didn't even give me the survey, just said you have cancelled.

Although this month is only £1 on offer, so maybe it doesn't work unless your on standard contract.

no as it's not against the law to stream content available by clicking a link on the internet plus why would a company like Amazon and eBay allow listings that do brake the law. As a paying customer of the full package since the 90's sky are greedy when they are willing to take your money off you but when your box which is very old is very temperamental and sky want £250 to replace then you do start to look at alternatives.

I currently have now tv as it was £10 in Tesco a few weeks back and must say the content pretty poor

Thanks! Didn't know this, just did this for our movies pass and our entertainment pass and it worked for both.

Cancelled.....and it just cancelled lol!

The software I use for films is legal. It's mugs like you that pay keep alternatives free ;-)

Even though I support your method, there is no legal way of watching copyrighted films free of charge. Unless it's on BBC Iplayer.
