Amazon Music HD is also free to try for 30 days. Sadly the 90 day offer dropped off last week

Worth trying out for a month if you opt into this.

I made a playlist about 3 years ago when I had prime, I recently signed up again and took the 90 days free trial. 80% of my playlist is no longer available, haven't bothered with it since I saw that.
Edit: Just checked and 4 out of 32 songs available.

Perfect timing thanks as my Spotify 90 day trial ends next week and I’d been offered the 90 free like the poster above

Prime Music is different to Music Unlimited.

Prime music is a rotating selection of free music for Prime subscribers to listen to.

Music Unlimited is the Spotify type service with all music.

Does anyone know if annual subscriptions ever go on sale for Black Friday?

Not true in my experience. I had music unlimited family package for a good couple of years and I noticed that music on playlists would frequently become not available. My main playlist had about 400 songs in it and at one point every other song was greyed out, annoyingly, even when they did become available again I would have to manually add it back.

I signed up to YouTube Premium Family recently through an Indian VPN for about £2 a month. You get YouTube music included for this and though the app interface isn't as good as Amazon's I've not come across any songs it can't find, you have the option to watch the video and most surprisingly to me, considering, I was previously paying £15, the sound quality seems much better too.
Just snapped that up, works for older customers as well 😁
As a previous free trialler I was curious to see if it might work, so clicked on the try me button on the 4 months for 99p page to where it gives me only a month free. Sad face.

Not missing much. 30 days is plenty. Sadly. SQ is somewhat bland & masked. Lacks any openness & sparkle AFAIK. Comes bottom in the rankings for HD music streaming companies.

Doh! missed that
I signed up to this the other day. 20 minutes later I was on live chat requesting a refund.

I could download stuff I purchased in the past but it refused to allow me to download anything else just saying error 200. The rep did some work in the background and told me to restart log out etc to no avail.

Checking Google suggests this error code is common.
Is it worth 99p? Yes.
Is it one of the most frustrating music streaming app experiences out there? Also yes.
Does anyone know of any offers for existing members of Amazon music unlimited?
Thank you 😁
Thanks been after something like this
I have taken this up after being a Spotify user for 10 years or so. Have to admit, sound is slightly better, but functionatlity and user experience isn't as good.. The playlists average out to about 25 songs, whereas Spotify premium playlists can be hundreds and hundreds. I will still stick with this for .99p then possibly go back to Spotify premium. Great deal regardless, saving me £39 I would have spent in this time on Spotify premium
It's done by calender month? I've just signed up. Do I need to cancel by 21st March then?

Correct
Just a note to say this doesn't work if you've ever been a music Unlimited member
I got this the last time on offer and honestly I found it pretty useless when asking Alexa for song choices ! Didn't seem much of a step up from the free built in setup from Alexa :/
spotify is way to go, no chromecast, lack of music
How do you add these to Alexa?

It's a huge step up from the free version. You ask alexa to play songs from a certain artist on free and it plays songs based on the artist. Ask alexa on the unlimited version and it plays exactly what you want to hear.

If your alexa enabled device is signed in to the same amazon account you buy the unlimited with then you just say to the device ( alexa play song by artist name etc )

Your Alexa app add music provider
Does it work with the google home mini, apologies if it’s already been asked?
