Looks like a good price for what is included. The date of departure is either the 8th or 9th of December from London. Apply the code WELCOME at checkout (new accounts ) or alternatively enter the code HELLO and although this is an invalid code, you will still get the option for a 12% discount. You must buy a minimum of two vouchers to book. After purchasing the voucher, you must then book by calling Crystal Travel on 0203 510 2370. If you have any questions about the trip, it is strongly recommended that you call Crystal Travel before booking the vouchers on Groupon. Hand luggage only.

Itinerary:
  • Outbound: flight from London to Prague
  • 2 or 3 nights in Prague
  • Train from Prague to Budapest
  • 2 or 3 nights in Budapest
  • Inbound: flight back from Budapest to London

We booked a four night Budapest & Prague trip with Groupon. Never again, you have absolutely no idea what Airport you will be flying from until you pay and order the Groupon "deal". Our first flight was from Luton Airport (we're on the south coast) at 23:50 that classes as the first night. We were then told the train and coach journey to Prague was 10 hours long, we had to pay to upgrade to flights rather than the train along with paying for an additional day in Budapest to make the trip worth while. I love both cities but I'd never do it though Groupon ever again.

Groupon is utter tripe. Rather go with someone decent like holiday pirates. Had the same experience as other op.

When you book it says London airport. It pretty obvious its going to be one of the budget ones (Luton or Stanstead). Also what did you really expect with the train? the fastest one you can get is about 6 and a half hours. It's not like hopping on the underground.

Holiday pirates isnt a holiday company, they just find deals. (they have even posted groupon deals before). So just check your happy with the end operator you actually book with.

Nope, they listed all the London Airports within their description they never stated that you don't actually get to choose which one you would like to fly from or what time. So no, it isn't obvious, it's misleading.

As I’m like most other people on the planet I’m not an expert on the train and coach journey’s from Budapest to Prague, it would have been nice of the company selling this offer to mention that it would be a 10 hour journey before they take your money not after, again misleading.

I must admit that when this was last posted I thought it odd that the transfer was by train, but that was just because I knew the rough distance.
Anyway you are quite right, if you are offered a package trip, then your expectations would be that the journey is feasible. You shouldn't need to check the fine detail, but sadly this is what everyone seem to up to these days.
