What a shame this is for people without school age children.

Not really. Not all deals have to be for people with kids.

Perhaps remind them of that in 30 years time when they're doctors/nurses looking after you and paying for your pension through tax/NI at the same time

How do they check the people who stay. Do they have to be the same 8 people for the entire duration?
Can 2 go and 2 different people stay?

hello it has to be the same 8 people i'm afraid as you have to enter all the party fullname and details for the duration. I am not sure if you can get away with 2 different groups to stay though. maybe you can? i know you can let have some extra visitors for the day and can have full access of the park. hope this helps. 😃

Have a look at the prices the week of and then the week after half term in February. It’s almost triple the price when the kids are off school 😡

Not really, just be creative with absence reporting and as long as they have good attendance there isn’t an issue.

So, no photo ID. Why should it matter which 8 people stay, given the lodge is paid for.
I wonder if people smuggle others in to the lodge, if guests are allowed!

They know that it will be sold out no matter the cost as its such an amazing place but the prices do ruin it for a lot of people unfortunately.

Technically you can do this, but it will be the responsibility of the person who paid for it if anything goes wrong, you can register 8 names and then you can maybe go as 4 and then other people can join as long as they are registered on the booking you may have to move luggage by hand from the car park unless the security let you through the gate. Cars have to be registered also.

Yes you can do this, I did it recently where family arrived first and we arrived 2 days later. Our names and car reg were registered. They let us park near the accommodation to unload as we had a luggage and travel cot etc then moved the car to the car park.
Heat added for the furry friends inclusion

Oh and the percentage of them that will actually turn out to be doctors/nurses is negligible. Next?
Why do people pay so much money to stay here? You could goto morroco cheaper than this

Ok not 8 but maybe 4/5. I forgot they where based on villas of certain sized group. Still expensive for what you get.

I would so break the kids out of school for this 😄

Not really it’s supply and demand. Can’t expect places to charge same price all year round, I have 3 kids.

on one hand I think the price hike is to cover things like extra lifeguards, more varied entertainment and food, extra activities, kids clubs, etc. but on the other hand the prices are so extortionate I think people who pay during school holidays are also paying for offers like these. why not 10 or 20% more, why 300%?

Genuine question - whats so amazing about it?

We have friends who were telling about their stay and it essentially sounded like a nice log cabin in the woods and thats it. For the price they got swimming included and sod all else. The weather is pretty much guaranteed to be average to poor. You'll be robbed of every last pound in your wallet if you do want to do other activities...

When I priced it up for October we could get a week all inclusive in a 4* in the Canaries for the same money as a week here.

Or I could just ask someone who has been and thinks it's amazing to tell me in their own words why it's so great.... Or not.

I've been a couple of times (cheap deals) it's really nice. Went to Woburn where the spa is great. For the kids the pool and outdoor play area is good.
However you've pretty much summed it up, not a FAT lot to do, but luckily kids were obsessed with going to the pool everyday.

Who said I was talking about you... Jeez, self obsessed or what....

Is your inferiority complex because you can't afford holidays abroad and you're all bitter and twisted about it?!?

Cheers mate for a decent response. I wasn't slating the place, just interested to what the appeal is...

Think I upset Scott though
