Vegas Baby! I would love to go to Vegas its on my bucket list when the kids eventually all leave home - 2 down 2 to go!

Thought this was great for the price as the flights are usually around the £300 - £350 mark and the hotels are en-suite and free wifi and have good facilities too.

4 nights in Las Vegas flying from Manchester on either 1st, 5th or 7th December is £399. Flights will either be with Norwegian, Thomas Cook, Delta or American Airlines depending on time and date of flights. You can either choose to stay at Circus Circus or the Stratsophere Casino, Hotel and Tower. For another £70 you can go for 7 nights on the 5th or 6th, 27th or 30th of November £469 all in!

Other airports are available you can go from -

London Gatwick or Heathrow from £459 for 4 nights, £499 for 7

Glasgow 4 nights from £469, £529 for 7 nights

Prices are for hand luggage only and based on 2 people sharing so you need to buy 2 vouchers to get this price.

Resort fees apply currently $36.28 / £27.82 per room per night at Circus Circus so $145.12 / £111.26 extra for 4 nights and $253.96 / £194.71 for 7 nights includes the below facilities

stratosphere fees are currently £37.40 / £28.74 per room per night so extra $149.40 / £114.54 for 4 nights and $261.80 / £200.72 for 7 nights and includes the below facilities

Yeah remember to add on the "Resort Fees" which is basically a joke. And the prices quoted here are outdated. Stayed at the Stratosphere a couple months ago and resort fees were $32 or $34 per day. Can't remember exactly.
WARNING !!!

Circus Circus + $254 Resort Fee charges due at hotel !

Stratosphere + $262 Resort Fee charges due at hotel !

Was only a quick Google search and first list I came across... Was more just trying to make newbie visitors to the USA aware
They are both at the end of the strip but we preferred it that way when we visited and stayed at the Stratosphere. Great price - heat added.

Yeah I understand. These fees like to be very hidden and just consistently go up month on month now it's difficult to keep track. And I agree with you, it's always worth given first timers a heads up to research this before getting caught out.
Nearly all hotels on the strip charge fees it's nothing new.
Good prices though as the flight alone is nearly £350 - 400.

It's new to people who have never been though. And the prices are going up and up.

Having said this, hotels in Vegas, even with Resort Fees are remarkably good value. It's just frustrating the price advertised is not the actual total since Resort Fees are rarely included and normally hidden.

Yes these caught me out! Had a room to myself. Took $1k to start with and 1/4 of my money went as soon as I hit the hotel!

Stayed at stratosphere. Wasn't too bad tbh, it's between new and old Vegas. So just jump on a bus/ metro or taxi was cheap enough split 4 ways.

Fair enough, but most people would compare prices anyway and see the added extras....
Yes but rather than just assume people know about these fees or that they will discover them before it's too late, why not just give a heads up?

This questionable practice of charging Resort Fees (regardless if you use any of the services included in the fee) catches out many people, (even the comment just above is someone who got caught out by it).

And also there is no mention from the OP about Resort Fees so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even know. It's not easy information to find from GoGroopie either.

No worries. It's not easy information to find when booking so definitely worth being aware of if considering Las Vegas.

Still, even with these fees it's still good value IMO. Just nobody wants to get there and discover they have to pay often more than the nightly hotel rate in fees when they get there.

Definitely something to add on to the price before the casino money!
Can I come?
I stopped going to vegas because of those damn resort fees.
Credit to anybody who can go on a long-haul flight for just 7 days holiday, let alone 4.
Fyi if no one has noticed, resort fees are starting to pop up in new york too now
I stayed at the Treasure Island and they let me opt out of the resort fees. Just meant we didn’t get WiFi in the room.
Resort fees are an abomination. Disney will charge anyone who parks their car on their Walt Disney World resorts a nightly fee but Brits won't have to pay until 2019.
If you do book Circus Circus, make sure it's the towers - the other rooms at the back are really dodgy. One guy told me it's where the cocktail waitresses go to die - they get progressively older as you work your way down the strip from the MGM
Good price I paid £2000 for me an partner 4 years ago but that was at Venetian which was stunning hotel
People would argue over anything on here. Not everybody is aware of the added fees.Be quiet and move on.
Circus Circus is a dive. Almost chose that on my first trip. So glad I didn't. Really run down and grubby

Million miles apart though the Venetian v stratosphere and I don't mean in miles.
We just got back from Vegas on Thr, we did 9 nights and it wasn’t enough. 4 days? Good luck we barely had gotten over the jet lag. We stayed at Vdara and MGM Grand. There was a 30 min period where the water stopped working due to a leak. Mentioned it at check out and got 2 nights of the resorts fee waived. Also won $700 on the slots. Vegas is life.
We got back from our 18th Vegas trip last week.Hotels Cost £250 for 12 nights as most were comped.Stayed at Strat on an early trip, wouldn’t stay there again,as it’s out of the way and you need to use buses.Hotel itself though is fine.Deuce bus works, sdx bus is quicker with less stops.Dont even visit strat on trips anymore.Wouldnt Be Seen dead in circus circus.
I have doubts believing anyone who says they can get resort fees waived. We get free rooms because we gamble, but still have to pay the resort fee on a free room.Only big gamblers who gamble a lot get fees removed.2 free nights in MGM Grand still cost us £64.
You want a hotel without resort fees go down Fremont street where I think the Four Queens is one of the last hotels resort fee free....that’ll change sooner or later

what was the gambling outcome?.........

We mainly use Mlife players cards, so tend to only gamble in MGM properties.
For most trips we are usually breaking even, we don’t gamble that much but it still gets comped rooms. This trip I thought we had lost quite a bit more, but checked my Mlife win/loss when we got back and I was only just over $200 down overall.
Not bad entertainment for 12 nights...it cost more than that for the tickets to watch Queen at Park MGM.Hopefully comped nights will appear again for next years trip..It still shows free nights for later this year, but we won’t be going again till next year
