4 nights in Norwegian Lapland for £497.60pp including flights, hotel, husky sledding and Northern lights tour.

This deal is based on 2 people flying out of London Gatwick on 25th January and returning 29th January and staying for 4 nights in the excellent Comfort Hotel Xpress which is voted number 2 on TripAdvisor!

There are plenty of flights to chose from across the country, SAS have some flights from Manchester and Edinburgh and Norwegian offer cheaper direct flights from around London.

Trip breakdown

25th January - Land into Tromsø and check into the hotel

26th January - Explore Tromsø

27th January - Hop onboard a husky sledge for 2 and spend half the day on the excursion

28th January - Spend the day doing your own thing before going on a Northern Lights Tour in the evening to see the amazing Aurora Borealis

29th January - Check out of the hotel and head to the airport to go back home

The hotel I've chosen is Comfort Hotel Xpress which has amazing reviews on TripAdvisor and is number 2! The hotel is in the centre of Tromsø so everything is easily accessible!

I've included husky sledding and a northern lights tour which has added an extra £417 onto the total price, if you don't fancy any of these activities there are plenty of other ones to choose from such as whale watching, hiking, snowmobiling and reindeer sleigh riding.

Tromsø - This beautiful Arctic Circle city is described as the Paris of the North and is absolutely beautiful. It is a perfect place to see the Northern Lights because of how Northern it is, it is also perfect for nature lovers as it thrives with wildlife. There are numerous excursions to do here you can't get bored, so many snow activities and things such as whale watching and bird watching are also favourites with many people.

Price breakdown

Flights with Norwegian - £351.40 - £175.70 each

Hotel booked through Tripadvisor - £226.95 - £113.48 each

Husky sledding and Northern Lights tour booked through Viator- £416.84 - £208.42 each

Total price for 2 people - £995.19

Total price each - £497.60

This deal also only includes 1 20kg bag but personally I like checking a suitcase between two people if your only going for a few days and with Norwegian it is only £10 per bag per sector so an extra £20 per bag return. If you want to check in another bag add an extra £10 each onto your total or if you want to take just hand luggage take off £10 each off your total holiday price. You have a 10kg hand luggage and hand bag each included so this is plenty of luggage for a 4 night trip.

This trip is just a guide and you can change it for dates, departure airport and excursions to suit you!

It's always going to be a "deal" when you travel during the week... but nonetheless, definitely going to use your sources for planning this trip for myself in Feb. Cheers OP!

Glad I could help! Doing it myself in 2 weeks, can't wait!
Great deal price wise, but two and half days exploring Tromso might be a bit much, it's basically one street and a church! Also be warned Tromso is very expensive for eating, transport etc. You can do it on a budget, but it's limiting. Have fun and wrap up very warm!

I'm sort of glad you've said that because when we go we've only got 2.5 days there including excursions and I was thinking it was going to be rushed but glad I'll be able to get everything done! Just need to buy some warm clothes now!! Think I'll be picking pot noodles haha!!
Will the excursions like reindeer sledging etc still be possible in Feb? I'm trying to find a suitable family break in Feb.
Yep they sure are I think they run up until the end of Feb/March!!
