I've been searching around for the best ISA rate for this year and this one seems to be paying the highest at 4% (max. transfer £15,000)

To be eligible for this account you need to meet one of the following eligibility criteria:


• Live or work in the London Borough of Barnet, Enfield, Haringey or Waltham Forest.
• Live or work in the postcode area EN6, EN7, EN8, EN9, EN10 or EN11.
• Be a member of the North London Enterprise Club or the North London Chamber of Commerce.
• Be the partner,close relative or employee of a member of the North London Enterprise Club or the North London Chamber of Commerce.

Good rate. Shame I don't live in London. Did you see anything else interesting and nationwide? I've just been put on 1.5%. It would save me looking for a deal myself. Cheers.

Average over last 3-5 years ? Most people prefer to spread their portfolio across higher risk investments such as stocks and shares and low risk cash with a range of investments inbetween. The last few years has caused a lot of heartache to those who thought stocks and shares would continue to grow rapidly indefinitely.

There are other Credit Unions which also offer competitive rates, although not as high as North London:
