Cold. I don't own a silver car.

Do you leave the plastic cover on a new car seat?

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not.

Have you ever opened your car door with the car keys in the same hand?

if they made these bigger to cover the whole car then you would never get accident damage also the car couldn't be stolen as it would be invisible.

no, not since 1984 when I started having cars with remote central locking

Tends to be jewellery that causes most scratches in this area, especially tall rings like engagement rings.

Personally, although these an amazing price, better to refinish with Maguires compound or if light Super Resin Polish.

about the same year I first got a Scorpion alarm I think it was called but remote anyway.
I still have made the mistake though of opening the UNLOCKED door with the set of keys in same hand.

maybe people should just buy hundreds of these and cover their whole car and protect it from stone chips, bird poo, ect, ect, not forgetting windshield protectors to save you getting a little chip in the windscreen, after all if you worry about a little scratch that can easily be rubbed out you must be frantic at the thought of a stone chip on your bonnet

These are available to cover most of the front of cars but its an expensive procedure I got a quote a few years back, just for bonnet and wing mirrors and was a bit shocked by the cost - good idea though solutions.3m.com/wps…es/

In all honesty if you look at the handle recess of yourcar you will most probably see it has a few scratches on from rings (normally higher set engagement rings) if there is a woman who uses your car
If you have a new car and want to protect from these scratches it's worth it.

Plus they are only 31p!

yes totally agree best from new but as I mentioned earlier have tested halfords.com/mot…7ml?_$ja=kw:drytinder%7Ctsid:40392&cm_mmc=Affiliates-_-PerformanceHorizon-_-drytinder-_-TopLink and is excellent on "hairline" micro scratches on older cars. I found you do need to really rub and go over twice if a fair few scratches.
cheers

thanks, very useful

I don't think women should drive

Be careful with these. I stuck these invisible stickers on the handles of my old car, and then could not find the locks to open the doors. I had to call the AA out and he smashed the glass.

Why would there be scratches at the door handles? It's not like anybody has to put a key in the lock anymore. Seems pointless to me.

Can I use it for my toilet bathroom bedroom kitchen doors

I meant to leave a smiley . Not a sarcastic comment. But really these seem as effective (if that's the word) as sticking other protective bits all over your car. Just had a big scratch on my bonnet. But I wouldn't have a protective cover on that. It's a car. Tesco bumps happen.

As previously mentioned:

• Jewellery, especially large engagement rings some ladies wear.
• I have on occasions opened my UNLOCKED car door while holding my set of keys - I do try not to do that but it has happened once or twice when in a rush.

Cheers
