Not according to one review "Coped with Torrential rain easily"

looks good

I've bought Tesco tents for the last 4-5 festivals I've been to, perfect, they are fully rainproof, I've had some damn heavy rain slamming down on it and it was fine.

I actually took this one to Sonisphere this year, and it's got loooooads of room. Real easy to set up to, and not too heavy to carry either. Comes in a really hand bag with a handle.

I bought one of these about a year ago from tesco and it is decent quality for the money tbh.

It absolutely lashed it down one night and it coped brilliantly.....dry as a bone.

Cool, I can buy this, use it once, then leave it at the festival. I have no value of money or the environment. Despite attending green festivals.

I do a lot of camping and (although it's boring to say so) you really do get what you pay for. This one actually doesn't seem too bad for £20, and reviews are better than I expected. Though do bear in mind its hydrostatic head is only 1600mm - so don't expect it to keep the rain out forever. If you're looking for a small weekend/overnight tent to last for a while I'd recommend spending a bit more on a good brand tent, but if you're happy to accept this as a short term investment you can't really go wrong for £20.

Good deal for certain people - heat added.

Can't go wrong for £20. Just what I needed for Boardmaster next weekend. Heat added. Thanks.

Went to glasto this year with and expensive tent and my mate had this one.....I bailed water for 3 days he was dry, I left that there, and have just bought this. HOT at £20!!

Has it expired - says £40?

Having attended a local festival over the past week, the disposable aspect really "1$$ed me off" ...I drove back & filled 2 vehicles with over 20 tents, 15 sleeping bags, chairs, camping mats & 3 thermarest amongst that too! , water carriers, insulated coolers, mobile phones, comedy wigs still in packets, rucksacks & allsorts (even a few beers to slake my thirst)

I will be doing the same next year to replenish our local scout / cubs / beavers / brownies group, it is all destined for landfill otherwise, thus I recommend anyone associated with a youth group gets a few adults & a couple of empty vehicles to mop up after a nearby event, help yourself, help the environment.

Interestingly(if you consider doing this) the ratio for pop up tent bags was 1/10 ratio, so you need to grab em every time you see em, (many are placed under the tent itself)

"master of the pop up tent"

It's so cheap, you could just leave it like a massive chav.

expired??

why is it £40-00 not £20-00 when you try t o order it?

Why are people so worried about whether a little bit of rain might leak into a tent for a festival? Who cares? It wouldn't bother me.

A little bit of rain is fine. A shed load is a pain in the ass.
