For occasional use its a great price, not an allday piece of kit, but great price, thanks OP.

Any of the cold voters do better??

voted hot since its your first plus. average price for a 4piece cordless gift set.
^ black decker one is just the drill for 34.99.
10 kg of logs for £3.99. That's the hot deal on that page.

Absolute nonsense. The Aldi is for a 4 piece, including jigsaw, angle grinder and light.

Try Fisher Price
Great find, 3 year warranty included, 2 batteries included.. great value for money.
Don't know why it's cold it seems a hot deal to me,voted accordingly.
Normally don't like cheaap tools but with 2 batteries and a fast charger this is a good deal, especially if the warranty covers the batteries, which normally anly last 3 to 4 years anyway. Batteries do look small though.
I was just looking at the details of this, 18 volt drill, angle grinder, jig saw, torch, 2 batteries, drills, screwdriver bits, spare disc blades, spare saw blades, 1 hour fast charger, all in it's own case.

3 year warranty, 60 day money back guarantee, seems like good value to me.

Thanks for the input everyone. I have added all the extra details from you to the original post.
Looks like a handy DIY set to have around, should be reasonable with ALDI 3 yr warranty, heat.
I'm making use of the money back guarantee.

For me the grip on all the tools was very uncomfortable; I just couldn't hold them well; obviously other folks may be fine with them so I'm not voting cold.

It's quite a cheap looking set - but if it suits you I think would be good value - I haven't used it at all as that wouldn't be fair given I am going to return it.

The jig-saw blade / shoe was tricky to adjust - but with a little cutting you could easily adjust the case to store the jig-saw with the blade fitted.

The angle-grinder disc must be removed to fit the case; but that's more straight-forward for fitting / removal.

The drill is variable speed and the 'trigger' seemed to be quite smooth on mine; the clip for the bit was very positive; it came out easily but was firmly held too (unlike my old B&D drill where I was always losing the bit).

Silly person! Not only does that not come with two batteries an angle-grinder, jig-saw and torch; but it's a Black and Decker!
I've been on a power tool splurge this summer so won't be buying this, but heat is due.
