Having this with my cereal right now! It's ok and good value but watery though. I await the day when semi and full skimmed milk can retain the creaminess of full fat

50p in Aldi.

Is this the same type that Morrisons had on offer for 50p,they are watery,semi-skimmed is fine but this type of milk is awful.

Not all 1% fat milk is awful but it all depends on what you like personally. Comparing this one to the morrisons one you don't like without first trying this one is unfair.

i'd rather have my cornflakes in water

the milk is nice, its FAR closer to semi than skimmed in taste.

That being said, this has been this price for over 6 months so not voting either way. (its nicer than the tescos purple stuff however)

I find it tastes absolutely fine, just like the semi. So does my mum and so do my friends.

The price of this has actually changed to £1.53 or 2 for £2 for months now at every Sainsburys I've been at. Bringing it back to this price is much better in my opinion, saves wasting milk, so I'm voting hot.

Quite a delicious milk ..... not watery at all

I agree - tastes like semi-skimmed.

However I'm not voting hot - this used to be a quid then switched to 2 for £2 which just encourages wastage or penalises those who don't use as much so neither fair nor green - £1 each is where it should be.

it is £1 each.

Always liked 1%. Never found it watery. Tastes the same as semi to me.

Just read this though, it may be of interest.

The nutritional differences between semi-skimmed and 1% fat milk are small and dependent mainly on the difference in fat content. 1% fat milk contains 40% less total and saturated fat than standard semi-skimmed milk. In addition, it has a lower energy content than semi-skimmed, and slightly lower levels of vitamins A and E, but has a higher calcium content.

thanks for that because i've been using the 1% milk for a long time and it is something that i'd wondered about. Sounds good, more calcium and only slightly lower levels of vitamins A & E, but the 40% less total and saturated fat is really really good.

I'm quite fussy so i'd imagine they all taste watery to me,my sister and my boyfriend thought there was no difference with the Morrisons one to semi-skimmed but i wouldn't drink it.

Asda still have the semi-skimmed & whole milk in 2 for £2 if anyone's interested in those varieties.
