Apologies if this has been posted recently, l looked around and couldn't find it.

A quid for 4 pints is awesome though.

All varieties.

Also 2 for 3 quid on Cravendale.

2.272 litres is 4 pints - so looks like OP is right.
Heat added btw - £1 for 4 pints is very decent

Not 'always this price' at all.

Poundshop always sell these dont they?

It's only 89p in nisa.:)

89p in NISA and in Poundland are 2 litres, if I got a calculator out maybe the NISA offer might work out a penny cheaper

R

89p in Lidl

They were £1.10 but have been £1 for a while ever since the supermarket price war

Cravedale 2 for £3 is nice deal. Cravendale is delicious.

I fear this milk has not been hand milked by the hard working farmer who caresses the teet whilst overlooking the sunrise and the glisten of the morning dew...

still for a quid its HOT

Always this price in Aldi. (Not been for a month or two, so may have gone up)
Plus Morrisons/Tesco do 2 for £2 anyways.

Or 2 for £1.50 at farmfoods

Or 2 for £1.50 at Netto

6 pints of Creamfields 1% £1.10 at Tesco. 4 pints at Lidl £1. 2x2l Farmfoods £1.50

voting cold as this deal is no better than anywhere else.

Or 2 for £1.50 at farmfoods

That offer ended ages ago. Still 89p for 4pints (2.272L) in Lidl.

Good price but I just paid 99p for 2x 2litres of Whole Milk (4%) at my local shop in West London...long dates as well.

MILK and brandy yum-yum

This is hot. Sainsburys still doing 2 x 4 pints for £2.00, but Tesco appear to have stopped that offer. Will keep this in mind for when Sainsburys finish their offer.

This is the going rate for that grade of milk.

Reason being is if they manipulate the price of milk, inflation figures don't look as bad, since the price of milk is a factor in calculating inflation. As are bananas, and many other things that have stayed the same price or gotten cheaper. Check the prices of everything else though and you'll see near 20% rises in the past 12 months. Ouch!

Real inflation is at least 10% (That's 10% less pay for you this year! Enjoy, courtesy of your central banker friends at Bank of England!) Look up "quantitative easing", "stagflation", "QE3", "credit expansion".

The middle classes are being intentionally fleeced / destroyed, because (allegedly, due to population pressure) we can't afford it any more (that is to say if China and India's populations expect what we have, it's not sustainable) so what they're doing is making us all poorer so globally the developing nations can settle on a lower, more sustainable target.

Get used to it.

Deal: Brrr cold like milk.

always this price

Indeed, you can get the same at Poundland, at Morrisons (for 2) or at Tesco (for 3).

£0.80 for 4 pints at Costco

Yup this has always been this price for as long as I can remember it isn't even the best deal for milk either?!

the Poundland milk is 2 litres which equates to less then 4 pints so it's not the same!

Had a look in the fridge, the containers are the same size but:
2.272 L @ Iceland.
2 L @ Farmfoods.

I think Farmfoods have stopped the 2 for £1.50.

Anyone else noticed the strange smell in Farmfoods as soon as you walk in?

shelleyH

It's only 89p in nisa.:)

I can get 4 litres for £1.50 at my local greengrocers

Guys there's a lot of confusion going on look at the bottle 2 litres = 2000ml 4 pints = 2272ml

Farmfoods, Poundland & Nisa = 2000ml

Iceland & Supermarkets = 2272ml

Got it?!?

as someone else pointed out earlier, Lidl sells 4 pints for £0.89. So thata cheaper than the farmfoods and nisa offers, isnt it?

if it's definately 4 pints then yes, if it's 2 litres then no.

11.36% difference.

Lidl IS 4 pints for £1

Aldi 4 pint is £1
Netto 2 ltr £1
Iceland 4 pint £1
Poundland 2 ltr £1
Farmfoods 2 ltr £1

I deliver to all these stores and before anyone says they preffer one over the other ,they all come out of the same dairy

Crap, this might spell the end for these deals then. I hope Morrisons keep this offer on. I drink so much milk I need a ****' cow!

Standard green top 4-pint milk now £1.49 in Tesco as of 2/6/11

Well the purple stuff at tesco is 75p. Usually fluctuates between 75, 79 and 89p but 75p at the mo

How about a Value milk pan for 30p? … How about a Value milk pan for 30p? :)http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=258147742

Ideal for a Green's Carmelle.
