As the title says "4 pints of Milk for only £1 in Iceland".

I noticed that 2 pints was eighty something pence, while 6 pints was over £2 also in Iceland. While a similiar 4 pints in my local M&S was over £1.70.

This seems to be a regular price, and not a promotional deal. I can only guess it is a loss leader to get customers in to the store.

Same price in Farmfoods. Just a case of shopping about.

Been this price for weeks

Thanks for the comments.

It's my first post, so it's nice to get some feedback.

Seemed like the best priced item in my local Iceland, and as no one has posted this, I thought it might be useful to some.

6 pints Whole & Semi-skimmed Wiseman milk - just £1.48 @ Costco.

It was £1 for years at Iceland until they put it up to £1.25 about 6 months ago. Been back at £1 for a few weeks now - which is nice.

That's for 2 liters not 4 pints. 2 liters is 3.521 pints. Just a case of simple maths.

Yep, thats a month old thread and we do allow repost

hotukdeals.com/ite…nd/

I got some of this last week. It tastes quite a bit sourer than the Cravendale.

It hasn't been on at iceland for a month. It was on for a week a month back and now it is on again. Different offer.

i love milko

i cant understand why all the big supermarkets charge ridiculous amounts for milk. around 1.56 for 4 pints and 2.25 for 6 pints. definately a monopoly and ripping us off. i rather go to my local shop and pay alot less. does any1 else agree?

Or the people who have never had a local Iceland and have only just had one open this week (in an old woolworths)

Same in Poundland:thumbsup:

Great, not only do they sell cheap milk but they also drop that annoying coke snorting morinic hobbit from their adverts. things are looking up!

Was she the one where the middle of her noise disappeared and she had one huge nostril?
If so, I can't stand her either, it doesn't really portray the family image that Iceland want.

Their sugar is expensive at 93p, I get mine from QD for 63p.

I think Poundland is 2 litres, not 4 pints - 3.521 pints as stated in an earlier post.

Perhaps they want to give a fair amount to the farmer and still make a bit of profit??

My local shop is a lot dearer.

Noticed that most of the Poundlands have the 2 litres of milk on at £1 now, I know a lot of the largers stores have been doing it for a while now but been to 2 of our local smaller stores in the last week (Irvine and Ayr) and they now have the offer too!

I usually go to Farmfoods if I can for the £1 for 2 litres.

Didn't realise that 2 litres was under four pints......thanks for that.

Not been living in a cave so can say iceland put the price of milk up (around my place) several weeks back and have since dropped it again so this is a good deal.:-D

Hiya, Iceland milk has always been cheaper however it does not taste as good as other supermarket milks. I've tried both and noticed that the iceland milk is more watery, try it yourself if you don't belive me!!!

Fair point, as long as Iceland is actually 4 pints and not 2 litres like most other supermarkets

I think most milk is a bit watery nowadays.

Years ago if you opened a glass bottle of milk the first gulp was creamy.

bought itbefore for that price, didn't think it was special

Fair enough, I though 1 litre was 2 pints, now I know it's a bit less

Good price, heat added, thanks

this deals back on:)

That's because milk nowadays (well has been for many years) is homogenized (fat particles spread equally throughout the liquid).
