How much does the farmer get?

4 pints. Same as any other customer.
Good reminder for those who may have been living abroad for 10 years and weren't aware that this has always been £1

Or in a coma...
I was about to say isn't this their usual price? But it actually used to be 99p, so it's gone up.
I buy two of these for £1.50 in Farmfoods.

yes was about to post the same - farmfoods is lesser known but cheaper

many supermarkets do 4 pints for around a £1 so not a 'deal' as such - even waitrose have it at this price IIRC ( great way to spend for your free coffee )

Farmfoods is 2 litre bottles
Still cheaper, 7 pints for £1.50 Just under 86p for 4 pints of milk.
I'd rather get 4 pints organic milk from Asda for £1.50. That way I don't ingest second-hand antibiotics that I don't need.
Animals in the UK are only given antibiotics when they are sick, as you would hope, and then there is a withdrawal period to make sure there is no trace of it in any animal for meat. Any animal with antibiotics in its system is disgarded. If antibiotics is found in the milk, this is disgarded and the farmer is fined, so they are very careful to make sure this does not happen

Yes, farmers and suppliers are always 'very careful' to adhere to strict quality procedures!
If they didn't we might end up with atrocities like horse meat passed off as mince and chicken scooped off floors with dates changed and still sold to the public.
Of course stringent quality procedures make sure that never happens!

But £1.09 in most shops for the last month !

Iceland milk, which this 'deal' is for, has been £1 since aforementioned holiday/coma
75p in Costco and £1 is nothing special for a ship we pay 89 p in our local shops
Nearly 500°!

Is that not the price for milk in most supermarkets
