Not much to say apart from its very usefull and does not cost a lot not a lot of money... Hopefully it will work & last for a while (not much to go wrong in it I'm guessing?)

I must now have about 8 devices that require USB charging points and I simply don't have enough sockets anymore!

£1.09 with first class delivery.

I was thinking of plugging this into a wall socket (or car charger) to charge phones, iPads, mp3s etc.... I won't do that?

I hope so or I've just wasted a whole £2.18

It will charge but at a lower rate.So if you had a 2amp usb charger and was charging 4 devices from it then each one would be getting 500mA taking long to charge device if you was to connect it directly.

*longer*

I'll try to expire / remove the dal (and cancel my order!)... Wouldn't want people buying it under false pretences.... Any recommendations for something that will do the job?

Thanks for sharing he deal OP, however a multiple USB hub charger would be something more useful

@jonesinamillion I'm sure there's something out there for the job,I will check now for you

Just search 4 port USB charger on ebay, there's loads of them that require a wall socket

you can get these in the pound shops

You probably need to consider a mains powered USB3 hub that should be capable of providing nearly 1amp per socket up to the max rating of the power supply. Typical item ex-UK from the bay will cost £6.95 delivered, random exampe being ebay.co.uk/itm…635

As others have mentioned, this is generally for USB data and not suited to charging multiple items. You would need to spend around £10 for a decent mains powered 4 port charger.

these are £1 in Poundland

Have one like this from pound shop and it takes an age to charge multiple devices and it doesn't even use usb2 despite saying so on the packaging.

Got one of these from the Poundshop it's plugged in the back of the tv with my chrome cast and two usb sticks , I would say it's not the best in the world but does the job if your looking for something cheap , but does take years to charge up things ,

The ones made by Anker on Amazon are brilliant.
