Been playing around with the 15% off Travelodge Rooms & Cashback offer that I posted a few days ago (end tomorrow) to see if I could find any Major Attractions offers that would work in conjunction with it.
Thought this Drayton Manor one wasn't bad,you can buy 4 Tickets for £70 (can be any combination ie 4 adults, 3 adults 1 child, 2 adults 2 children etc although travelodge will only allow max 3 adults + 1 child per family room) as long as you book them 7 days in advance.
Then I looked at Travelodge Hotels within a 15 mile radius for a Sat night in Sept & found that you could book a family room for just £32.30 (with discount) at the Burton A38 Southbound for the night of 24th Sept, the hotel is approx 10 miles from Drayton Manor.
If you are not tied to a weekend, then you can find rooms even cheaper ie I checked Sunday 25th Sept & found a room at Tamworth M42 (3 miles from Drayton) for just £23.80, so £93.80 for 4 People + £5 cashback, for the night of Sunday 9th Oct the room would cost £21.75.
Worth playing around with dates to see what you can find, remember to use the go to deal link to be eligible for £5 cashback, I'll pop the link to the cheap tickets in 1st post.

Lots of closer hotels really than burton one. Look for hotels in Tamworth,Lichfield. Fazeley is the closest village area with few guest houses & b&b. Tamworth has two travelodges (M42 & Tamworth Bolebridge) and a premier inn. Also has a Holiday Inn at SnowDome. Also don't forget Drayton Manor has its own Caravan & Camping site on too. I know all this as I live about 5 minutes from Drayton Manor!

Thanks for the info, it was more about the price of the Travelodge ones & the cashback that's on offer at the mo, the Tamworth ones are more expensive than the Burton one on a Saturday night however as per the op "If you are not tied to a weekend, then you can find rooms even cheaper ie I checked Sunday 25th Sept & found a room at Tamworth M42 (3 miles from Drayton) for just £23.80, so £93.80 for 4 People + £5 cashback, for the night of Sunday 9th Oct the room would cost £21.75."

I presume the closer ones are more expensive on a Saturday night as most people who visit would do so on a weekend day & have to go to work on a Monday hence being cheaper on a Sunday night.

I've never been, but my girls are just getting into theme parks, so hoping to visit next year

Yes it good price and deal not gonna argue with that! We go regularly to "the manor" (local name!) As we are annual pass holders. Lots to do for everyone especially if like my girls they aren't into big rides nice to go round the Zoo or have a picnic. I'm sure they'd love it.

Our kids love Thomas land, although not sure I'd want to book 7 days in advance, might lash down all day

They also do a rainy day guarantee

Drayton manor tickets £23. Don't need to buy 7 days in advance. I used this website a few weeks ago. Voucher was emailed straight away. No issues.
