Good job the rest of us (mostly) actually pay for stuff otherwise you'd have nothing new to download for free in future.

For me physical has 3 huge advantages: 1) It always works (I've started downloading then watching - but most of it is still streaming which is prone to freezing up occasionally) 2) I can lend out (and receive) physical copies from friends/family, and 3) I can resell if I don't like the film or I know it's a watch-only-once film, which most of them are. The flip-side of that is most older films can be bought dirt cheap second hand.

And I'm definitely not a collector!

They are. But it's still a massive market. And some people prefer physical, and always will.
Nice deal, but gutted as you got hops up there was a 4k version of the original trilogy with the deal photo

I noticed the other day that Sky Q have started to include Atmos on some of their UHD content, still prefer physical copies though Unfortunately I've already got the ones I want out of the selection in this offer, still it's hot, thanks OP!

My thoughts also.

OP could you change the pic to something not misleading?
Take it the boxes are in Italian then?

TBH I don't worry about that these days. Sky Q, Netflix and Prime do me fine, I don't pixel peep and provided I get 5.1 DD/DTS I'm content.

I was Lovefilm for the longest time until they retired it.

He can't stream it anyway he obviously has no clue that it won't be true 4k if it is streamed
Don't think it includes 4k when you filter it shows nothing

Well I do

1. Sky Q is min 20 pounds + 10 pounds for the movie channels + 5 pounds for boxsets and +5 pounds for HD channels ?. So you are spending 40 quid a month at least on Sky. Then 12 pounds for Netflix and 7.99 pounds for Prime. Basically you are paying 60-80 pounds a month on entertainment which buys a fair few blu rays a month. For example I bought about 5-6 blu rays from the pound shop last week, 8 new titles from amazon with the spend 50 get 10 pounds off. HMV also have some very good deals on.

2. I can pick and those what I want buy and watch. The problem with streaming services unless you subscribe to them all it can be difficult to watch the movies you want to see. No all of the services carry the same movies and it is only going to get worse as the studios start their own streaming services.

3. Larger choice and not limited by monthly changes. Streaming services do have a large range films but generally tend to be the popular ones. If you a fan of the older movies, or certain film type like world cinema your choice can be limited. Physical media does not have that limited factor. Additionally if you own the film you can watch it when you want you dont have watch it this month because it is going to cycle out of rotation next month.

4. Better quality. Streaming services are getting better in quality and certainly it is more than watchable. However it is fair to say the blu ray and 4k physical media are still way ahead of the choice and selection of times in these formats.

This is not to say streaming services are bad and I admit I recently signed up to netflix and have been very impressed with the service. I just like having the physical media and being the one in control. I feel like I at least have something still of value in my hands.
Mad Max and The Revanant would be amazing in 4K, but Joy?
Awesome deal OP. Logan steelbook was OOS pretty quickly here from HMV so glad to finally pick that up
