It is but not everyone has a Costcutter nearby

Is this the proper Stella Artois (5.2%), because I bought some the other day from Tesco for £3 for 4 cans and it looked like the stuff we normally buy, but was a bit lower in strength (by 0.2% down to 5%), but didn't taste right.

Much better deal than the 3 crates for £20 though. I always think they aren't that good a deal when you think about the amount of volume you receive.

I'm lucky though and my local offy sell them normally for £6 for 8 cans of the 5.2% Stella.
Still - good deal. Voted Hot

Yes this is the proper 5.2% Stella

My local bargain booze and a few shops do single cans for like a bit less than this. but still good if ur in asda and fancy a few drinks, like i usually do!

it doesn't taste a nice from a bottle.

Hmmm it tastes nicer.

Agreed

Are the cans the same size as the one in the picture? :-D

Who want's just four? Takes me at least 8 before I even think about domestic violence.*

*Domestic violence is not usually something to joke about. Here it is.

Also selling 4 bottles of grolsch for £3

Stella has been £3 for four cans at our local Tesco Express for a while. Dunno if it's just a one-off at this store though.

Sorry but wouldn't buy this if it was 20p/can, awful flavour. Rather buy 2 bottles of 'Fiddlers Elbow'.

Tesco were doing 15 cans of the same beer for £5 less than a month ago. I bought 30 cans for a tenner but I didn't like this beer very much!

Suppose good deal to some, In my opinion stella brewed in this country tastes a lot different and isnt worth the buy. Theres too many variations now, 5%,4%, big can, small can, big bottle, small bottle, the one that makes the difference is were is it from.

Hang on a minute :x
How can you even make a connection between the two other than they are alcoholic?

Stella Artois is, in my opinion, a rather nice refreshing tasty lager.

Fiddlers Elbow, is a decent enough ale, but is nothing like lager.
Personally out of the Wychwood's, I would go for Hobgoblin. A very tasty little ale.
I enjoy both. Depends what mood I'm in.

Lager's good for waking you up if you're a bit tired.
Ale tends to make me a little sleepy. The perfect drink for these lovely winter evenings though.

However, thumbs up for the Real Ale! There really should me more on draught in pubs
