I was going to buy the 7dayshop 4 x AA 2000mAh Eneloops for £6.69 then saw these 2100mAh Hybrios at Amazon for £5.59 delivered.

This seems to be the best deal for Hybrios at the moment, as alas the Maplin £4.99 deal with charger, seems to be expired.

Hope someone finds this useful, long time lurker, first time deal poster!

The 7 dayshop batteries are not as good the Uniross by some margin.

Could you please add a link to the info that Uniross are better "by some margin" I could do with something to read ?

Voted cold as this is by far a better buy and just throw away the charger if it's not needed.

This offer is about HYBRIO batteries though - ie the kind that RETAIN their charge - that other offer is conventional rechargeable batteries = BIG difference and not comparable!

Not sure why this is cold, these aren't normal AA these are 'Low Self Discharge' the same as Sanyo Eneloops. This is a good price.

Says who?
I've got both brands and can't find any difference in performance.

It's a fact, go read up on them.

Hybrio are low discharge.

Have you ever come to use a console controller or torch or any other device with rechargeables in it that you haven't used for over a month? You'll find the batteries are dead.

That's rechargables for you they lose charge when not in use - unless you're using Hybrios/Eneloops that is.

Who is this comment aimed at?
Assuming it's me, be aware that I only use lsd batteries and don't need to read about them.
My previous post, if you read the thread, was pointing out that there is no difference between the 7dayshop lsd batteries and the hybrios

The 7dayshop "Good to Go" batteries I listed above aren't ordinary rechargeables they are exactly the same "hybrid type LSD" batteries as Eneloops and Uniross

(_;)

Did you numpties saying these are better than the "Good to Go" think they were standard rechargeables ? lol!
