I have these radios and they outperform my Baofeng 888s radios, they also run on AA batteries so more economical and you can get some good high capacity rechargeable batteries in them for extra long run time. I have had 2.5 miles in semi rural area with clear communication.

Yes brought both 23.99
Now this is a hot deal, even though I don't like amazon I voted hot.
These cameras are two to a penny but lovely for nothing and the walkie talkies have like a 2 mile radius so I’m hot all the way.

If its anything like the gearbest one its a bit awkward, I had mine set up today on a battery pack monitoring a vehicle battery being charged to save me going and checking the LCD on the charger. The night vision is fine, obviously b&w.

Must be fault with your Baofeng 888 as they should easy outperform these radios 10 x times more RF power than FLOUREON
FLOUREON is PMR legal radio intended to be very short range very low power ie half watt and low gain fixed annttena
Have used Baofeng 888 to access repeaters 5 miles away and can be programmed easy with chirp software
Some of the Baofeng 888 had problems with power output ie only 2 watt instead of 5 watt also was known problem with standard antenna caused poor matching .Could sometimes be overcome really tightening it

Don't get me wrong I like my Baofeng 888s but there definitely not 5 watt, mine average 1 watt and looking online so do everyone else, even the newer 999s is less than 1.5 watt. See this video from 12.45 time onwards

Looked and lot about the later 888s low on power mine,s quite early one dont think puts out full 5 watts though
but when purchased lot of Ham sites saying around 2 to 3 watts then and activating repeaters 25 miles away
But in comparison to FLOUREON Walkie Talkies or any PMR the 888,s should and will far exceed range of any
PMR radio only get couple of miles in good conditions with PMR

I also have a set of binatone action 950 pmr radios, and yes the 888s have better range than them, that is why I was surprised when the floureon out performed both. Maybe my 888s are only about 1 watt like others have found and yours are higher powered, also have noticed a lot of UV 5r are varying in power from radio to radio, many people buying a pair only to find upto 2 watts difference from each radio, one user was getting 7 watts from one and the other 4.8 watts. I have the floureon one's from this deal. hotukdeals.com/dea…901

Mine arrived today, has yours arrived?. Camera works as expected and now connected to mine a d my wife's phone, 1 of the radios is faulty, it turns on but has no tones when you press menu buttons and it will not transmit to the other 3 radios but it will receive from them. I might chase it up with Amazon. The other 3 work as they should. All good value at £24. I already know how the radios work after buying them from this deal hotukdeals.com/dea…901
