Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 is a high performance car tyre, developed to deliver a smooth, exacting performance with superior braking in wet conditions.

Goodyear have constructed the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 with a highly refined silica compound - this enhances the grip of the tyre, resulting in short braking distance on both wet and dry roads. The tyre's asymmetric tread pattern, coupled with the stiff carcass results in responsive, sporty handling - particularly on dry road surfaces.

Always go for an A rated wet grip rather than fuel efficiency which doesn't make much difference anyway.

Also a little note for some people. They appeared to have some conditional formatting on the claims form and it did not like Northern Ireland registration plates. Quick email (info@goodyearrewards.co.uk) and they raised the claim manually and got the voucher within a few days.

Lol, yeah was actually surprised they included some N.Ireland fitters for a change, then my heart sank abit when I went to do the claim 2 years ago, you would think they might you know fix it at some point. Though problem solved after I got a personal plate which is English reg lol.

Very good offer. Sadly I need 225/45 r18, but no luck for a while now. Heat added.

With respect you've got a lot to learn about tyres if you're purely going by the EU labels.

These are excellent tyres for out and out traction, people that drive fast cars and/or drive spiritedly. They will provide shorter stopping distances. By all means if you want fuel economy and an all round good tyre, stick with the efficient grip performance.

Also for others reading, efficient grip isn't made in all the bigger sizes whereas assymetric 5's are.

Just bought some 18's on the 30th Sept' - dash and blast.
Been hanging out for a deal in this size as I need 4. Michelin was my first choice but this is a stonking price for the Goodyear tyre and I used to buy the older asymmetric 2 and 3 (which were superb- and the voucher will be handy with Christmas shopping coming up. Will probably pull the trigger on this tomorrow.
This is, quite simply....an unbelievable deal! £57 each fitted for the latest Goodyear Asymmetric?! Wow.

Check out the T&C's it looks like it's on any GoodYear tyre over 16"

VOUCHERS:
RIM SIZE 16" - 2 Tyres=£15, 4 Tyres=£30
RIM SIZE 17" - 2 Tyres=£25, 4 Tyres=£50
RIM SIZE 18" - 2 Tyres=£40, 4 Tyres=£80
RIM SIZE 19"+ - 2 Tyres=£50, 4 Tyres=£100
These are excellent tyres! I had slightly bigger ones fitted a few years ago and it cost almost £600

The grip on the road especially wet conditions was world class!
This is a amazing.. I'm annoyed as had to buy new tyre from puncture last week paid 65 for maxiss tyre.. Wish I knew about this,! Anyone know if maxiss is still decent tyres?
Is Lancashire a no go area for this offer? virtually no dealers
Nice! My existing Goodyear F1 asymmetric 3s are due replacement. Found the grip better than the preceding contisport contact 5s - and I got 12,000 miles out of the continentals on the front but 30,000 out of the Goodyear's!! So hope the new F1 5s are as good.
Damnit there's no locations in the north, they're down south only! No wonder I've never heard of F1 autocentres
Are these run flats ?
Looks like you can try to price match Just Tyres too for 10% (of the difference)

Mmm I'm attracted to you
Is it worth getting their precision balancing? Got new alloys that are going onto the car as well
Any recommendations for Goodyear Winter tyres?
Is this limited to this size only? I have staggered sizes

So do I, and decent tyres in that size always seem to cost £40 more than the 40 profile equivilents.

"There is a purchase requirement. The offer is open to retail customers who purchase qualifying Goodyear tyres (two or more Goodyear car, van, 4x4 or SUV tyres with rim size of 16” (inch) or above for a single vehicle."
Anywhere else that provide good deals on tyres?
Cancelled my previous order with KwikFit and got this one instead. Much prefer an Amazon voucher than an hotel stay voucher.
Thanks op!
