Hi, thanks for posting. I just bought a first car in my life: VW Polo 2016. Wheels, rims, tyres are ok but look old. What would you/anyone recommend ?

Congrats on your first car! The BEST feeling isn't it

Tyres actually have their manufacture date printed on them - the week and the year they were made.

"The four-digit tyre age code is usually located in a window on the tyre sidewall. The first two digits of the code represent the week of production during the year (from 1 to 52) while the second two digits represent the year of manufacture."

So these were made the 47th week in 2018. As others have said, you need to see how much tread is left on your current tyres. The recommended depth to get new tyres is 3mm and the legal limit is 1.6mm.

My only real advice is make sure you get QUALITY tyres. Your tyres are the only thing that are between you and the road. NEVER get cheap budget tyres. Use websites like Tyrereviews.com to read up on the best ones but Michelin, Goodyear and Continental are 3 of the best. Wish you many happy and safe miles

Worth noting you have to pay full price and claim back via Michelin website.

Note to camskill why did you close your Tyre fitting garage always used to go there.

Anyone know if these would fit a ‘15 Focus ST?

That's annoying. I could do with swapping my PS4 on my Megane R26 to these, but the size I need is £138 a corner... Boo!

It's the cheapest ps5 I have seen, just need to find the games for it

    Thanks for posting.

A lot cheaper than Costco £170 each for Michelin pilot 3. I think I'll have to cancel my order there.

Has anybody had problems dealing with camskill in case there is any issue with the tyres? (edited)
