That's pretty good, previous offer was upto £30 and normally it's only £10 or £20.
Do you have the link?

Soft check first.
£30 for me so account specific. Not bad for free amazon gift card though.
Thanks OP, I got the £40 offer so well worth applying for
I got £50 last month Wish you all the best one. Worth checking

Can you get the credit card and then cancel it
DragonX19/06/2019 16:44

I assume they do a credit check

They do yes, and reject on random grounds. Never going to try them again - bunch of jokers !
Worth it for the £40 (only offered me £30) but is it worth having for the points benefit?

Assuming Prime and only using it on Amazon, 3 points for £2 spent means spending £667 to get a £10 voucher and if you are a light Amazon spender and so use it elsewhere, you need to spend £4,000 to get that £10 voucher. Use it for all your spending and I guess you might need to spend £2,000 for your £10 voucher.

I hope those calculations are correct.

My verdict is yes please and hot if they offer me £40 and then only use it for Amazon and return it as soon as I get my first £10 voucher.
Fab thanks OP! £30 for me. I already do most of my purchases through Amazon so may as well earn some points too!
£10 for me.

£50 here too thank you. Glad I didn’t sign for 10

Did it show the £40 when you first went to sign up then as you went through the application or was it the £50 from the offset?
Just have a read of the top reviews before committing amazon.co.uk/Ama…8-2
only 10 for me to.
'cashback' rate is pretty poor to.
They have recently reduced all the cashback rates on this card.

I'm cancelling mine soon :/
Anyone getting £10 by using the link.... access the credit card ad from your Amazon account. The link showed £10 for me but when I went via my account it had £40.
Thanks OP, it showed as £10 but then I logged in and went through the link you provided and it then showed as £40!
