What a load of crap that service fee is - at least Just Eat only charge a respectable 50p, not a massive 10%..
Thanks, I’ll bite at 40%. The first order after they introduced those pesky service fees (max £15 discount)

Makes delivery fee £1.92 for what I am ordering (different depending on each person's subtotal of course)

I am waiting for my favourite chippy to be back on share a courier like it was just before I entered the code
Thanks for the mention on the additional info @Chanchi32

Usually discounts don't apply on delivery fee/service charge.

They don't but I mean, with the discount, I worked it out, I'd be paying £1.92 more than I would in-store, so effectively that's what my delivery cost is.

Makes sense.
Is it easy to get a revolt card just for this?

You can order one online, but there's offers to get free cards so don't pay for one! Deal says it ends 30th June 2020 but it could end early as Uber Eats are well known for doing that.
Thanks my local takeway uses Uber and no difference in price so hot with code
great - I just used the 50% off code this week (expired June 9) and have been hankering for some more chinese food - thanks OP

You'd just be able to sign up and use your virtual card, wouldn't you?

I got my card quite a while ago and if I remember correctly I had to get the actual physical card, make a purchase in-store or online using the physical card before I could do anything with my Revolut account. It could've changed since then though!
Why do I get charged service fees for KFC but not McDonald's lol, scam artists anyway. I'll only ever use uber eats when I get a discount
How do you pay with revolut please?

You get a revolut card?
I’ve got an online account no card?
Has anyone used this successfully? I've added the code but on checkout it isnt applying the 40% off. Does it only apply after you pay?

That's because you have to write out the Revolut card's details as the payment method on UberEats. So literally type out the 16 digit card number, expiry date etc.
What is revult
Used it and it worked no problem
1. Create a revolut account and a virtual card. The card details will be displayed in the app.

2. Add the revoult card like any normal debit card on your uber eats app > my account > wallet. Then select this card when checking out

Haven't tried it myself as of yet
Nice deal, can you combine this with the £5 off code?

I order KFC with a 50 percent code off at 8.23, it went though got accepted, 30 mins later still not here, then 50 mins later still not here,I messaged guy if he picked it up, looked again in ten mins, delivery guy gone and it went though like ten different delivery guys, and all I got was 4 pound credit code, it was now nearly half ten, I am sure KFC closed by now and wish I just cooked, around 11, I was put out of Missy and it finally said canceled, so too latee too cook, I just finished work and was starving,so orders some lovely food from foodfub, came Very quickly,
I messaged Uber eats next day and got bog standard respond and said problem been with delivering to my area, I messaged them back and told them it's not to do with the money and if there was a problem, one of the delivery guys ,or KFC could of let me no, a lot earlier instead of no communication, just cancel after many hours later

After my experience I’d stay away from UberEats. First time I ordered a chinese takeaway, after over an hour still hadn’t turned up, opened the app and the order was there. But only after investigating I could see it was cancelled. I had no notification or anything. No reason why. The app makes it extremely hard to find a way to resolve a problem. Took forever to finally get a response using a contact form and just apologised with no explanation.

Second time I ordered a kfc, driver was apparently literally outside my door (no notification, had to keep checking myself) but there was no one around. It said it was someone on a bike which was dubious as no way could someone get here that quick on a bike! Then a few minutes later the order changed to delivered! It took forever to again find a way to get through to someone and had to fill in a form and wait til the next day to get a refund after asking for it.

It’s a shambles and a very dubious app!
Lovely

Same here
I struggle a little with the fact that these promos are funded either on the back on the restaurant or through inflated prices like when you are buying booze through a local Nisa.
Thanks!
What a service fee. I’ve not booked a table?

Just eat also charge the restaurant. I avoid JustEat if possible, better to buy direct through the restaurant.
Ordered with the 40%, which knocked my order down to just under 20 quid. The food came cold and with one side dish missing - I told Uber and they refunded me £16 without question!

So £4 for a takeaway decent
