£40 Very voucher for £15 using Revolut/Paypal/Groupon

44
Found 16th Nov 2015
This will work on new accounts only @Very

Download the Revolut app and when signing up use the promotional code "MSE". Deposit £15 (minimum £10) and you'll now have £20 credit on your revolut account. Link your new revolut card to your PayPal. Next, just go to groupon and purchase the £40 Very voucher, which is £20, making sure you pay with your revolut/PayPal card.

There's also 8% quidco available for groupon too.

This does work as I've done it myself and others have too when I posted a similar deal to pre order black ops 3.

*you don't need to link to PayPal, just pay normally with your revolut card details*

I've registered and topped up with £15 but there's no option to link my paypal. Is this necessary? Can I not just buy the groupon voucher with the virtual revolut card?

I've just had £1.60 Quidco track from buying the Groupon voucher, and if the 10% cashback pays out from Very that'll be another £4. Also £6 refer-a-friend from Groupon and the £5 on the Revolut card making a total of £3.40 spent for a £40 Very voucher. Plus a free pre-paid mastercard thrown in. How is this not hot??? Thanks OP

Because you're buying the code from groupon?
Does this require you to open a credit account? ie to use the £40 voucher?

 no you don't
I'm having trouble at the part where you pay for the very voucher, I only see options to pay with paypal and not Revolut? The £20 is in my Revolut account atm, I've created a card to use online but now I don't see an option to add my paypal account?

Your revolut card is a MasterCard, enter your card details (which can be found in the app) like you would buying normally

If you want to add it to your PayPal just log in to PayPal and add the new revolut card as one of your payment options

Me neither. Looking in the ask section and wanted threads, this deal could have saved some people quite a bit of money recently. Crazy voting. Just going to keep stuff like this to myself now
Usually get 50-75% off first order so bit of a rip off (at £15 off £40 when deal posted and a bunch of hassle too!)

Link please? Just looked through 3 years of deals and can't find any better than this...

For people who think this is "hassle" I honestly feel sorry for them.

and what do you mean £15 off £40?
Edited by: "OneGloveOnTheFence" 20th Nov 2015
Clearly I meant 50% off as it became a second price of £20 which it always is. 75% is sale to new customers that happens from time to time via email. So £15 is good but it didn't work for most people as was probably an error.

£15 for the £40 voucher (£25/63% saving) is not a error, after the "hassle" it does work, I've helped quite a few to do it and they're over the moon. Plus most of the other 50% off deals have minimum spends of £50/£60.
A few months ago someone posted the £40 for £20 groupon voucher and mixed it with ps plus so you ended up getting it for £20. This got over 1000°. Now here, with 2 minutes hassle you could get it for £15 which is a blummin good deal (obviously you can apply this to anything at very).

Anyway it's done now, I helped a few and they've thanked me so I'm happy.
