Didn't realise that until after I had already voted hot! It's a bit out of order really especially with it being XMAS day. If you want to buy these books pay a fair price (it's for charity)

It is COMPLETLY optional how much you want to contribute.
It was just that is the lowest amount you could pay. By doing this, it's raising the profile of this charity. I guess I didn't make it clear enough that you can pay what you want.

At the same time that's 1p they wouldn't have earnt if the deal wasn't highlighted here.

At least with the deal highlighted you will still get those who will pay above the odds for the content because it is for charity, which they wouldn't have if the deal hadn't been posted.

Paying $15 or more for the whole bundle is well worth it if you're a Whovian.

Heat from me, please don't let me down Joe Public and give more than a couple of pennies

This is the same with all Humble Bundles - you pay what you want for the basic bundle (from 1p) and then you can pay over the average for the next bundle, or even a fixed amount for the third bundle. I've had many a PC game this way and it's great, but I generally give at least £1. Digital copies don't cost much to produce so even 1p to charity is better than nothing, and if you don't like it then just give more!

At the moment BTA is $13 so people are paying more than a 1p for it. Personally, I might wait for the average to come down a little...
But still HOT.

aww the above the average is almost the same as the max tier, was hoping it would be in the middle

It costs them more than 1p to process the payments, so the people who actually just pay a penny for these bundles are genuinely costing charity money.

So yeah, pay more than a penny eh folks.

You can pay what you want. Pay a penny or a grand, its up to you. Voting cold is a bit ridiculous.

Paid $15 and now seeding the official torrents. Great charity to give to too, so given most of it to charity.

Great price for what you get - I paid $15 (£9.95 via Paypal) to unlock the lot, and gave 100% of it to the charity

Paid $15 and got the lot, looking forward to listening to them while I walk to work during the cold winter months. Great selection for Humble Bundle and would encourage everyone to just pay what it's worth to them, and remember all money raised is for good causes.

The Dalek Empire stuff is a little bland TBH. You'd be best paying the $15 and getting 'The Lost Stories'

I love how you suggested paying 1p, then mentioned that that whole penny will be going to charity... lol.

Pay how much you want to.........if you want to give to charity give to charity. (it has sliders to alter the portions paid)

You could always sign up to humble bundle and regularly contribute.

"By the end of the 2014, the total charitable amount raised by the Bundles exceeded $50 million across 50 different charities and participating developers have grossed more than $100 million"

Hot as always for HumbleBundle
Happy New Year

This quite frankly is an embaressment to goodwill and decency.

Pls people, pay what you can reasonably contribute - I'm sure most people on this site will contribute more than what the OP has suggested.

Humble cover all transaction costs themselves, the only people you'd be costing money is them.

Better to pay bare minimum for what you want, then if you want to give Medecins Sans Frontieres more money then contact their UK office, that way you can Gift Aid the donation so they'll receive 25% extra.

I payed a penny but sometimes I pay quite a bit more. It depends on how well i am doing financially that month. Humble are great. You pay to a charity and you have something to show for it. I am currently paying out 2 hefty payments, direct from my bank, monthly to 2 charities because I am a sucker for a pretty girl in the street giving me the hard sell. Since then these organizations have pestered me by phone call, again giving me the hard sell and asking for more money. I have also recently found out that a large percentage of my money goes to corporate fat cats. So I will be stopping my direct debits and I will then be able to pay companies like Humble more money.
